I stayed 6 months at the Globe for my farm days with my boyfriend and Brian and Loretta helped us to find jobs al along! The staff is kind and helpful and the apartments are nicely refurbished.Would recommend !

Best place ever to do your regional work, don’t waste time going elsewhere where you will more than likely get messed around with no pay or false promises. Brian and Loretta (owners) are the best people, Respect them and they will respect you. George is a legend too. They try hard to find you a suitable job for you to complete your days as soon as possible with fair pay. The hostel is clean and safe. I met some great people when working in Griffith the town is beautiful and loads of great restaurants. Globe is the best working hostel around. Thanks Brian and Loretta.

I’ve seen first hand how hard Brian and Loretta work to get jobs for tenants and secure them their farm days. They genuinely care and if you respect them and their hostel, they will go above and beyond to help you. I’d recommend Globe to anyone that wants to secure their regional work. Thank you Brian, Loretta and George for everything, loved every minute being part of the Globe Team :)

It's been many many years since my stay at Globe. As I had a forkie ticket it was easy to get work. Brian came off as a no nonsense guy. If you accept the work and do it, you'll have no problems. Don't come to the hostel expecting simple jobs and pity. If you're not ready to work, you're not going to have a good time.

Don't waste your time here. You will be treated with disdain and disrespect for requesting basic things like a clean, pest free accommodation with working appliances.Brian the owner is abusive and rude. Instead go to Premiere Suites and for almost the same rates you get excellent newly built accommodation with wonderful staff.

Highly recommend The Globe Backpackers for anyone looking to complete their regional work!!! The owners Brian and Loretta are amazing people and will do whatever they can to help you during your stay and make you feel part of the family. Lots of well paid jobs, good accommodation and a place where you meet friends for life! Thank you Globe for such a great experience, you do such a fantastic job getting so many backpackers their second year visa! <3 <3 <3

My girlfriend went here to do farm work and came away with the best experience. Globe is a Great place to go and complete your regional work, the owners are fair and help you to find farm work as soon as possible for you to complete your 88days. The hostel is clean and spacious with 4 & 8 bed dorms all come with own kitchen and living room and bedrooms. Good quality jobs in griffith, pay fair.
