I had to lodge a form today and I left with a huge smile on my face. A lovely woman named Rebecca handled my visit and she made me feel 10 feet tall. We had a lovely chat about helping others and fighting injustice where you can, she praised the fact I've kept a clean record with Centrelink and used other services, and on a personal note congratulated me on weight loss I'd achieved to avoid family medical problems.I feel I've dealt with someone who genuinely cares about people and embodies what Centrelink should be about.Thank you Rebecca you've made my day

Indian staff member was extremely rude and dismissive of deaf client and their needs. Would not recommend going to this Centrelink office as they are unkind and non-supportive of people with disabilities.

Just called to get a new Medicare card and the non Australian hung up on me for telling him I want someone else that knows what they’re doing as he had no idea and wouldn’t help me. Word of advice if you get someone that doesn’t speak well English ask to speak to someone else so they stop hiring immigrants.

The staff are incredibly rude and unhelpful when it comes to sorting out claims. Multiple errors on their end causing me to lose payment and when I go in to rectify the issue I get told to do it online or to go home.Very rude and unprofessional operation here

After reading the reviews here I was expecting to be reduced to little pieces. Instead I was treated in the most courteous and helpful way by a group of lovely people. Other customers there were also treated in the same way as far as I could see. Top marks.

People I've seen are lovely but they have taken over 6 months to give me any sort of payment I've given everything they've asked me to fill out and when they need something else they don't tell me the only time I find out is when I call or go in they declined one of the payments they said I was eligible for now they'y keep stopping this payment and not granting it even though they have everything they need mind you I'm almost 27 weeks pregnant living in a shared home and can't get into my own he until I start getting paid

Needs a name change... Waited over an hour to have my partners ID viewed... again! Why, if it's been viewed for other family payments does it need to be viewed again? Sure... surely there must be a better way?! It's just an absolute waste of time and money?

I visited the office for Assurance of Support three times within two weeks. This can be done by one visit. The main problem is the staff member lacking communication with each other --- they just lost my docs.When I asked to give comments to the manager, the staff member advised me to call and promised the waiting time not long. I called and waited 30 min with no reply. Leaving message online is my only option now.I would say a checklist and SOP needed for all the jobs. The customer info should be recorded in the system, with easy access to all the staff.

Respect the workers and behave in a civilised manner and they'll be happy to assist you and treat you the same way. I've never had problems with them from numerous locations. I was a dropkick and never gave them problems before and they helped out the best way they can. I've had issues with different situations due to covid and gave them a ring both people were so helpful despite the demand for their services. Seriously, be civilised otherwise you're just making it harder for yourself
