Rob's Redgum Supplies

My wife and I have purchased wood several times in the past from Rob, last time being last year We don't use much wood in our fire and tried to purchase some today 11th July and were told 'no we are only servicing our regular customers'. I thought purchasing wood each year was regular. Lost a customer here and we will be telling everyone we know.

Even though I’m not a regular customer Rob was nice enough to sell us some red gum firewood when firewood became extremely scarce during lockdown. I bought a bootload and price was not bad, will buy more next season.

Great stuff easy to deal with very happy

I have been buying wood from Rob's for several years now but after this year not so sure . I have brought 2 loads so far . First load would not burn well . Had fire and flu cleaned and still very little warmth lots of big coals left and blackened glass. On buying 2nd load was told my fire prob needed to be cleaned and it would be the fires fault not the wood. Well 2nd load wasn't much better won't even stay alight overnight.. I burnt left over wood from a short camping trip and the warmth was wonderful. So the problem was not my fire. Very disappointed this year and after 2 loads that didn't burn well I will have to find another supplier which is unfortunate but I can't waste my hard earnt money on wood that won't burn.

Bought wood from here 2 months ago and 2 weeks ago. First load was great. Second load is unusable. Not dry enough and very very smoky. Will need at least a year to season.

Great setup at yard. Best part is they measure the load on scales so you know you are getting what you paid for. Friendly staff. Great quality, dry wood. Wood burns well.

This is a difficult one to rate as I've purchased 3 times here. Quality of wood was good, Rob himself is a lovely guy (he delivered our first lot), but since then had the second and third delivery from the rudest, most condescending man,that I swore I will never buy from them again. Sorry Rob, that delivery driver is a poor representation on your business.

Rob and his team are Absolutely amazing! Messaged Rob at 8:45pm on friday asking when can he do a delivery to my house. Without any hesitation he was able to deliver the following day 11am.The wood is in really good condition, we use it in our coonara and lasts hours.Thanks again Rob & team!Stu & Kate-land.

Purchased 500kg of Ironbark standard split and was able to get it delivered the next morning.The wood burns slow ,long and throws out alot of heat.Norman at Rob's redgum supplies was very helpful on the phone with the types of wood and how to order online
