We had the buttered chicken, lamb shank. The lamb shank was nice and tender, the buttered chicken was scoffed down by our younger ones but I would have liked slightly more spice. We went early on opening so service guys still working out their feet but all good and well worth a visit.

The building might might be unassuming, but the food is spectacular. Our table had a beautiful, flavourful lentil soup that came with lovely crispy croutons AND a big generous slice of toast. We had the three curries on the menu - cumin lamb, butter chicken, and beef vindaloo. They were all beautifully crafted by someone who knows what they’re doing. So savoury and warming. Don’t miss this great little restaurant.

Had Sunday lunch with 4 of us. We sat outside in the sun. Lovely afternoon with great food and we appreciated the BYO wine option. We had big breakfast, butter chicken, seafood linguini and lamb shanks. Everyone was happy with their meals. Entree of bruchettas was nice also. Dessert was only OK, but the coffee was great. Service was great, despite it being very busy. Well done Mary Bruny. We will come back.

Had lunch here while on Bruny Island for the day. Poorly signed and understated place. Food good but seems expensive for the serving size. Service and value could be improved.

We had the smoked salmon bruschetta, garlic shrimp & salmon linguini and Tassie wallaby rigatoni to-go after calling. The girl who took our order was super friendly and the food was extraordinary! Would definitely love to dine-in next time we are back in Bruny.

I had the avocado on sourdough toast with rocket, fetta ( which I removed) and tomatoe, it was good!They don’t have vegan options so that was pretty much what made sense for me to have as lunch (as the other possible options are starters)My friends had the linguini with salmon and prawn and the butter chicken curry, they were happy with it although the tomato sauce overpowered the other flavours in the curry.Apple and raspberry sparkling juices are really nice but $6 each.There’s seating space inside and outside. Toilets are clean.

Came here on our visit to Bruny Island, initially thinking it was Penguin & Peradolt as it was highly rated by Trip Advisor. As we were famished decided to eat here anyway, ordered a big breakfast with a chai latte. The food came out quite promptly but did not really look appealing with some random salad on the side. The look of the food matched what it tasted like, very mediocre. Staff was very nice and service was good, but with food... There's more to be desired.
