BUYERS BEWAREI took my ute to Dallas Automotive because it was cranking too long on its first start after sitting for 8+ hours... The mechanic explained it would most likely be a bad fuel pump but I was doubtful because it showed no sign of running lean or any other issues... I told him the battery was old and that I suspected that to be the cause. We agreed he would check the battery and I booked a service for while they had it.They replaced the fuel pump and a relay (braking the fuel tank in the process) and charged me $1300 for the work. I payed the bill and took the ute home and parked it... Expensive, but problem solved I thought.I got in it the next morning to go to work and found the problem not solved at all; it was exactly the same. Exactly. I tested a few more mornings to be sure then went to see Dallas who told me they would have to look at other issues. I questioned him about whether they had checked the battery or not and whether it could be the cause of the problem and he seemed to evade the issue... so I said if you sell batteries get one and put it in. I payed him took the ute home and after wasting alot of time and money, the problem was finally solved.Why wouldn't you just test and replace the battery as agreed before going ahead with expensive, unnecessary work? I also don't appreciate the black fingerprints you left on the white paintwork (which I can't get out).After a week of testing the car with the new battery I called and told him I want a refund on the unnecessary work they did... he refused.

Absolutely fantastic service here.. real prices.. and quality work. Highly recommended... let's say pedders across the road said my car was stuffed.. Dallas fixed it... true workmanship

$265 RWC when everyone else is $200 failed RWC for a light scratch on the windscreen I've been here previously and would never return I find them very unscrupulous 1 mechanic told me 4 hours to fix an issue the other said 8 don't trust or believe them also very expensive mob

Had rear brakes done and they stripped 2 of my wheel nuts replacing 1 with a different type and left the other one on hoping I didn't notice. When I rang after noticing no apology. Said the correct ones weren't available but they were in stock locally they just didn't try to get them.They did replace them with the correct ones.

The last 3 times my car has needed work, I have took it to Dallas automotive, and been satisfied with the service every time. The men are nice, and very professional. I will remain a loyal customer as long as i live in the GV.

LPG tank tested for 10year check well it was out the boys new I needed to do the rear diff bushes for a Rwc to be passed that I had done elsewhere and call me and saved me a lot of $ by them replacing them well the tank was out thanks guys for the grate price and taking the time to think ahead and get them done before me I will recommend Dallas to any one for any work to be done

Great service for our motorhome. We had a problem and they got onto it with in an hour and we were on our way within a couple of hours. Very knowledgeable and excellent service. Thank you
