1st time I've been inside and taken a look around. It is excellent and well worth visiting. If you have an interest in the natural world or want a quiet place for coffee and a stroll, this is a good option.Clearly reliant on volunteers they make the wetlands accessible to all.Two tips for you... go during the week when it's quieter and don't forget your binoculars if you have them.

Nice walk along the water bodies and plenty of bird life around. Make sure you carry a mosquito spray with you. Great spot for taking pictures.

Amazing tranquil place to wander around. Learn some things about conservation and watch the birds. Lots of exploring around the paths and take a picnic with you. Cafe on the grounds has great coffee.

Such fun. Kiddos loved dip netting - we caught a teeny fish! The playground is always a hit, we walked through the reptile house, went and counted all the freckled ducks, climbed the egret tower, and spotted all the dinosaurs set up for school hols. Had a delicious lunch and coffee at the Cafe overlooking the pond. A beautiful day.

Luscious coffee! We got take aways and took them down to the playground with a picnic. A slow walk around the boundary with the pram made for a relaxing and rejuvenating afternoon. The big kids lead the way through the offshooting paths to a surprise ugly duckling" sighting and of course their gorgeous mama Swan. A picturesque pick me up for the week ahead.Visited with a friend and her daughter in Spring school holidays. Well done knitters! The place was decked out with knitted bears

It's so good to see the ponds filled with water! The only positive of La Nina. Kids loved walking around, exploring and all the mini play areas

It charges admission $20 for family. That said, the place is big and beautiful.Staff is very friendly. There is a cafe but closed due to C19.Lots of tracks to explore. There is a children play area and a towermLots of tables.and chairs. There isn't a lot of cover area so be prepared in rainy days. All tracks have no steps and no steep hills.Children are given with treasure maps to keep them excited and busy.

Note: 5-star rating is for Wetlands area ONLY.We were warmly welcomed by the two friendly ladies at reception, who gave us maps and advice. It's a beautiful place to spend some time and get your nature on and me, my wife and our 6 year old son really enjoyed it. We decided to stay for lunch and, unfortunately, this proved to be a mistake. The grumpy old guy in the restaurant couldn't have made us feel less welcome if he'd tried. First, we sat down at an empty table; he came and put a Reserved card on it and said we had to move because it's reserved. So we moved to another table. (That 'reserved' table remained unused for the duration of our stay.) When he brought us our drinks, my wife politely asked him if he could please remove the previous diners' dirty plates and cups. His reply in a surly tone: You shouldn't even be sitting here
