Absolutely amazing service by Kiki, I called in for a quote on some paint the young lady gave me a quote and she said that she'll give me an extra 5% of the retail price so bought 10L of paint.Called in again today 24/01/22And this time Michael was the assistant in the shop, again what an outstanding service he was more than happy to look after me,so needless to say I will definitely be back again and again and again.....

Michael helped us set up with all the paint products and tools required for sealing a concrete driveway. The price was reasonable and he also gave us useful tips on how to carry out the job. This 5 star review though is for Michael’s customer service later. We ran out of paint and I went to buy some more on Saturday morning but unfortunately they were out of stock. Michael identified there was stock available at the shop in Bowral. Though Picton Paints closes at midday, Michael drove to Bowral on Saturday afternoon in his own time, picked up the paint, returned to Picton and left it in their secure cage for me to collect on Sunday morning and finish the job on time. Much appreciated, thanks.

Michael at Picton Paints is the man. Great advice on the right product to use and great customer service. Definitely won't be going back to bunnings for my paint from now on.

A few months back I wanted some paint colour matched to paint one of those lovely old offset Australian made Dawn vices. I never knew that offset vices were actually a rarity outside Australia and while I doubt anyone reading this review actually cares, it is a fact that anywhere else in the world Offset vices are a rare find.They seam to turn up in Australia at every Auction and Garage sale. and can often be found chocking the wheel of an old trailer in someone's back yard. That's where I found mine. that is in someone's back yard. not chocking a trailer wheel, I made that up.So I wanted to paint this vice and put it on Instagram to make Americans sad because I found something that they don't have and cannot really get and bringing them sadness somehow makes me feel better. There is probably something in that and I will ask my therapist but regardless, it was at this point that Picton Paints comes into the story.I needed paint. They colour matched another vice I had for me which in itself was a challenge being as I don't think they are totally used to holding a vice up to the colour match machine... anyhow the lady was super helpful and seamed to understand and she sold me some really nice paint for the job. It really was nice paint.You know when you get cheap paint and you brush it on and its all streaky and looks terrible and takes about 100 coats to cover and by the time you get good coverage it looks like it has a 100 coats of paint. Well the stuff she sold me was not this paint. It went on great in two coats with a brush. I was thinking to spray the vice but seriously it looks great with just the brush.Actually I may have sprayed it. I cannot really remember it was a few months ago. Much has happened since then. Anyhow the vice looks great, I put it on Instagram, American's got sad. I have a nice vice and mission accomplished thanks Picton Paints. 5 stars

Incredible service. Michael gave fantastic advice, and couldnt do enough to help us. Such a great local business, I will never buy paint from one of those big hardware stores again.

What an amazing and knowledgeable man Michael is. He gave my husband expert advice on what best to buy not just for the painting but also for the preparation of the walls etc. Unfortunately, the paint my husband wanted was out of stock so this wonderful man said he would personally deliver to us, which he did today. This kind of service is not often forthcoming these day! You can trust that when we need more paint, we know we will be driving to Picton.

Michael was really knowledgeable and took the time we needed to make a selection. Highly recommend him for paints and decking products.
