The Platypus Accomodation

We had a very brief but very happy stay.Basically beautiful and beautifully simple in the outfit of the room. Crisp white cotton sheets to sleep in makes me very happy.I organised it over the phone at the last minute and Tina made it a very simple transaction.Great value too.

I only stayed one night and arrived late in the evening. Room was very clean and tidy. As mentioned elsewhere, shower water pressure and temperature were excellent. Bed mattress also very comfortable. Room was at comfortable temperature (early April), so I required neither ceiling fan nor air-conditioning. Check-in also worked well with security code for both general as well as room entrance. Unfortunately, I did not meet the managers not get the opportunity to visit the cafe, but might be able to do so during any future visit. Also, when speaking to some friends from Dubbo, they knew about the Platypus and also spoke of it highly.

Very clean and tidy. Beds were very comfortable. Complementary breakfast was substantial and generous. Well maintained facilities, peaceful surrounds and very convenient set up.

This is not just an awesome cafe with incredible coffee, herbal teas and Pizza which has a base of sheer ingenious dough. The accommodation is great also. Clean, fresh, comfortable beds, separate toilet and shower. A bed for a little one. Super Friendly service and the brochures are great for any wine goer or region visitor. Freshly renovated and clean. The shower was large and plenty of hot water with good pressure. I liked that you received a text with a key code rather than having to stuff around with keys. A good place for an overnight stop

Great room for a great price. It felt spacious and comfortable. I will be staying here again. Also, loved it the attached cafe.

Super quiet, incredibly clean and comfortable motel. You can tell the owners really care about their business and go above and beyond to keep guests happy. Love the cafe and it’s great that you can organise dinners too. Would definitely stay again.
