If you need a reliable dry cleaner, give Carville at Carlingford Court a miss. I have used them on a number of occasions, disappointed that they promise clothing to be ready for a specific pick-up but when you go to pick up they say they need extra time. A phone call could have avoided the inconvenience of time taken to visit their business multiple times to collect the item/s. The last time I used their 'service' this delay tactic was in play - on that occasion stating they needed to re-run the process to get a better result. I trusted they knew what they were doing and left my favourite jumper in their hands - it was an expensive angora /silk jumper handmade in Bolivia, purchased from a country outlet in Victoria. I had spilled a small amount of coffee on this cream coloured item and would have had a much better result hand-sponging the mark rather than committing to Carville. I was turned away a number of times when I arrived to collect my prized jumper because they wanted ‘more time to gain a better result’. On the final occasion I attempted to retrieve my jumper the owner of the business, Rose, said she was “afraid” to show me my jumper - she eventually did: it was shrunk to a size suitable for a Barbie doll. I was devastated. Rose promised to source the maker of the jumper and said she would replace it. I did a lot of research, spoke to the original seller who no longer imported clothing from Bolivia, but I found a supplier in the USA. Rose was not interested and withdrew her offer to assist in replacing my jumper with an offer to pay me $150 – a fraction of the cost of the jumper. I eventually decided to accept the $150 given there appeared to be no alternative remedy but found Rose not true to her word, she quickly changed the offer to $50 then withdrew altogether within the same conversation. She is not a capable dry cleaner, is dishonest, demonstrating neither integrity nor commitment to quality work.

Had a few stains on my beige trench coat which other dry cleaners outright said they couldn't remove out of fear of fading the colour away, The team at Carville got rid of it no worries and now this is the only place I trust to clean my trench coat. Highly recommended!

I’ll give them no star if I can. The lady was so rude at the counter and she throw the coat on the ground in front of me and I find all other clothes wear on the ground behind the counter. I’ll not go there forever and not recommend this dry cleaner to any one.Continue to do your business like this and I believe you will get what you want.

they don’t clean at all. I have a new jacket sent for dry cleaning but there is still clear stain. $32 service for nothing.

One of the nicest customer service experience I have received from a drycleaner service, the shop may look very busy and packed out but the lady there does beyond immaculate work with a reasonable price and time.If I could I would give it a 10star rating.

They have ruined my jacket, so I ve returned it.After three weeks, with no call from the store.When I went to pick it up, They have told me, our machine doesn't cause damage, and they didn't take responsibility.

I was a customer of this business for quiet a while. However, I would most definitely not recommend them to anyone. Lately every time me or my partner take our clothes to them, they make pathetic excuses as to why they can’t return clothes within a reasonable time ie Machine not working or not enough staff. These people need to realise these excuses do not concern the customer and we cannot wait 3 days to get two simple pants dry cleaned. The gentleman working there has no customer service and could not even compromise knowing we were customers of their business for such a long time. Will definitely not be going back, they should be replaced with another responsive business.

The new owners are AMAZING! Honest, reliable, punctual and extremely friendly service. I took my most valuable dresses to them and they removed the most horrible stains with immaculate attention to detail. definitely worth it and will be back!
