The Last Local Canning Vale
First time going to this pub the food was great big serves atmosphere was good but very busy being a Friday , the staff are very friendly ... we ordered beef cheeks , chicken parmigiana and beef brisket omg beef cheeks so tender so good and the parmigiana was very big and so filling the sauce on the brisket a bit sweet but was very good, we be back

The Last Local Canning Vale
Awesome place to try out some local food. They have specials everyday where you get a great price for whatever is on offer. We had Chilli mussels ( spicy ! ) , absolute gorgeous dish and right up our alley. The steak sandwich was more than a handful and tasty. The chicken parmiagia is also great. All in all , highly recommended for a visit if you are around here.

We went to try the Tuesday special which was $18 steak, rump with salad and chips. I ordered medium rare and it was cooked to perfection. Chips were done just right, the salad was simple -but was good and balanced out the meal.Service was great, we always get asked how our meal is and if we had any issues. Our response is always great. Always top notch service, friendly and helpful staff.We are lucky it's a walk across the park for us, so good to have a walkable great local restaurant there. It is a place we like to drop in when we don't want to cook.

Where to go for good food with the family on a Monday night..The Last Local..Booked a table for 6 adults, with 2 kids aged 2&5. On arrival, the place was busy.Ordered drinks at the bar and were shown to our table, ordered our food, and what a great night.Service with a smile, every time from all staff, we were asked when given our entrees, for the timing for our mains..Our entrees were fantastic and hot and delivered together. Great meals, no complaints.Mains came out lovely and hot and again together.Everyone enjoyed their meals, including the grand kids.Outstanding service, great food delivered to the table by kind helpful staff served with a smile, everything perfect!Well done to all staff..Andrew

Top local pub in Canning Vale. So many pubs just offer your standard chicken parmi, burger, etc. The team at The Last Local in Nicholson Rd have done an outstanding job with the new outdoor area, large screen, overhead heating and the service is top class. This place gets really busy so if you're wanting a table then best to book ahead. Otherwise pop in outside of the usual 'busy' lunch/dinner times and you're bound to find a table.The new menu is great - the food exceptionally well presented and all delivered out at the same time. Nice to see some Vegan / Vegetarian options for those non-meat lovers. Me, I really enjoy the steak sandwich - top class.Well done guys - really great job indeed.

The Last Local Canning Vale
Went with a group and the place was nearly full. Has a nice courtyard area outside. Good to see three vegan items on the menu. I had half a roasted broccoli with pumpkin puree and pickled onions. I also had a side of truffle infused mash. Altogether, very tasty. Kitchen staff are very efficient as are the friendly wait staff. Recommend.

We went there for the second time within two weeks and ordered the same dishes.. Bruschetta, Gamberi Aglio Olio & Pear, fetta with rocket salad because they're amazing. But on the second occasion, they plated the bruschetta separately because I mentioned that we were sharing these dishes. Applaud for the extra service provided plus staff were amazing and friendly. Great beers too.

Had a nice lunch here couple weeks ago. Went on Tuesday and tried the steak special. For $18 its actually very good. Really nicely cooked, and the included red wine jus was amazing. Such a great value! The award winning steak sandwich was pretty good too, though I think the dip only makes the bread soggy. We swap the chips with salad because of our diet, and find the salad to be really nice. Beer was reasonably priced. Service was good, place was nice and clean. Will definitely return for more
