What a wonderful beachfront find for our quick tour through McLaren Vale. Perfectly positioned on the silver sands beach, with clear water views. Service was impeccable and swift. We had driven from the Barossa where the night before had a kingfish crudo, my all time favorite dish. So when I saw a kingfish crudo on the menu, I was hesitant - but couldn’t say no. It was easily the highlight for me, with the flavours being a perfect combination of delicate, mildly tart and with a wonderful undertone of citrus. The prawn brioche bun entree was something that could be consumed by the dozen. Not because the serving was small, but because it was simply just so bloody delicious. The unassuming fish and chips was, in my husbands own words ‘some of the best I’ve ever eaten’. My swordfish was generously portioned, and it too was just phenomenal. What a testament to dedicated staff and owners with a vision. Not what we expected at all, but a must visit if you come to the region. We highly recommend this cool and casual eatery, you won’t be disappointed.

And so we decided to give the restaurant a go. We must have drawn the short straw as our meals were pretty much below mediocre. The chips were the worst we ever had, they were powdery and hard, assumed it had been cooked way too many times? so we left it pretty much untouched. The lamb shoulder pizza was disappointing with little shredded of lambs. The chicken schnitzel was just okay. Young staff with little training from management. Venue is located in a great location. The reviews showed regular inconsistencies which we hope would improve to regular awesome consistency. It'd be ashamed otherwise. We will give it another go in a few months' time and hope to have a different experience.

Booked for the Mother Day lunch session and we had a great time. Place was very busy but hte staff were great even whilst running around.Kitchen deliver a perfectly cooked for both entree and mains, medium rare steak was done beautifully with a chimicurri sauce, and the barramundi was super fresh and well cooked. Will be back.

Pros:View, locationCons:Staff (lack of customer service, not once did staff attend to tables to ask if customer’s were requiring anything. Staff too busy talking amongst themselves to bother assisting customers. Manager is full of himself. (looks down on people, too busy parading around like he is worthy)Food: (boring, not worth the $$)I ordered chicken schnitzel served with chips and salad. Gravy poured all over schnitzel (tasted like packet gravy), schnitzel overcooked and dry, chips were equivalent to McDonalds French Fries and the salad contained lettuce mix (looked like a Coles pre packed lettuce mix) the salad lacked any other salad items such as tomato, cucumber, carrots. - Boring!!!!Coffee:I ordered a regular cappuccino. The cup was a baby cino size, tasted like 7/11 coffee.Overall:Over rated menu, that screams over priced and boring. I feel the owners don't take care about repeat customers. Basically tourists will go because of the venue location and not return. I would not recommend this place. Better to head to Victory Hotel, a short drive from Silver Sands Beach Club where the food is fantastic (slightly pricer but atmosphere and service is old school).Silver Sands Beach Club is a flop and I am disappointed that I wasted my lunch hour at the venue.

We had the Club Cheeseburger and Club fish burger meal. Great quality beef and fish used. First visit here and will be back to sample more of the menu. Picturesque location too and friendly service. Highly recommend.

I really want to like this place but after my 2nd visit I have to say I was very disappointed and really don’t understand all the hype. The wine list is good and the very young staff try, they are friendly but don’t have much idea about good service. The small, shared menu sounds impressive but didn’t deliver. The octopus was horrendous, ridiculously chewy and the flavours were all wrong. The kingfish was presented nicely but was bland. Prawn bun was ok but the bun was toasted and it felt stale. The anchovy finger was a tiny slice for $12 but was the highlight. The mains are very basic, all members meals were overcooked and served with French fries and and a bit of limp greens. The prices are those of a good restaurant except you have to do everything yourself, go up to order drinks and food, carry drinks back. Set the table with cutlery, it’s totally ridiculous. Then bizarrely we ordered coffee and the 2 cappuccinos tasted salty, no idea how or why but when we were leaving I mentioned it to them and they looked as if I’d gone mad.I hope they look at these reviews and make improvements as it would be a shame for such a nice spot to go to waste.

So happy we stumbled upon this place! It’s rare to find a location that ticks every box (food, drink, service, music, style), but this place has nailed it.The gnocchi, with locally grown pumpkin, was the best I have ever eaten. As was the salami pizza. And I don’t throw those compliments around easily.I’ve fallen in love with this place and want to go back again and again and again. Thank you for providing such an incredible experience.

Excellent ANZAC day lunch in a beautiful setting. Very welcoming and delicious food. We enjoyed the octopus starter, prawn pizza and calamari with paella main - all really different flavours and very accomplished. Kids menu options were spot on.

We'd read about the Silver Sands Beach Club so made the trek to try it out. We arrived early and our table was ready which was great but when we asked to have our cocktails out the front we were ultimately unsure whether we were able to or not. In the end we went outside to a vacant table and it was pleasant. The food was all really nice and despite being quite busy came out promptly. The service was friendly and efficient throughout the night. There is an additional wine list which is huge.

Clearly, this place has not made up it's mind as to who its target clientele is. Thong wearers puzzled by the well dressed couples & visa versa.10/10 food was amazing and hugely appreciated when travelling so far to get o this well publicised restaurant. While Nick does an amazing job to keep all happy, the restaurant is clearly understaffed.Very surprised that only 50% of what wine we ordered was available. I expected it to be ample and staff knowledgeable. Owners need to spend some time investing in delivery of their dream.View fantastic and DJ so much fun.Just need the package to be tidied up and work out who your audience is. Uncomfortable cafeteria chairs lend to customers popping in for an ice cream but food exemplary for high end diners.
