One of largest biryani chains of Pakistan. Superior quality rice with some premium cut lamb. I really like the lamb biryani. They specifically pic pieces with some body fat on it. That simply enhances the flavour of the dishServing size is huge. You can literally eat one box in two parts. Taste is great, value of money is goodThe salad and raita served are good . Over hyped worst quality food. Came from Melbourne with some friends and heard alot about the food but it was a terrible experience. The biryani was like boiled colored rice tasteless and there was dry milk powder on top of zarda instead of khoya.

Been wanting to try this for a while and we finally did today. Got the chicken biryani $12 and lamb biryani $14. Waited outside 15mins or so for them. The portions were generous with lots of rice. However whilst it was spicy there wasn't much of a flavour. They're quite oily too. We had better biryani nearby so won't be coming back unfortunately.

Positives:I always ordered from this place online. Loved the food. It’s very authentic and flavourful. Love how the rice is perfectly cooked for the biryani. I have also been there personally myself, ordered a Meal 7 which included a naan (flat bread), Haleem (minced chicken with daal), flavoured rice and a drink. We just paid $15 for all of it. Me and my partner were full by the end of it. Absolutely love the quantity. If you have a larger appetite, as a couple you’ll definitely need two. I also tried their Shahi Kulfi (heavy cream Ice-cream) which wasn’t very great, but was good for its price ($4). Loved the staff. Very kind and humble and welcoming. I haven’t tried the place at Auburn yet, so I’m not sure what’s the difference in quantities.Negative:The only downside was the ambience and hygiene overall. It wasn’t very welcoming. Though the tables, cutlery and floor was clean, it’s wasn’t spot on. Because of the bright white lights, a lot of insects were flying towards it which made me very uncomfortable. Maybe if they renovate the place with good lights and fresh decor, dine in would be more popular.

it was a simple place with good food option. the food was great and actually cheap compared to what we were getting in portion. 3 of us went there and ordered one combo meal for 24$ that includedone serving chicken biryanitwo pepsione chicken kebabone small friesone chicken burgerand 11$ chicken biryani. and all of the items were really good. we were so full by the biryani that we couldnt even eat yhr burger. the chicken in the biryani was super tender and well marinated.overall the place was worth it. totally recommend. 9/10

Good and Quick Pakistani Style Biryani. Tasty but it’s not Authentic Indian Hyderabadi Biryani. Good Prices and you get a lot for your Money. Hate that they still use a lot of single use plastic that could be totally avoided.

Student Biryani located on Surry Hills definitely deserves the hype and praise it deserves, firstly the Biryani is fresh and the chicken is soft and flavourful and authentic, the Naan is fluffy and fresh while also having the perfect amount of Garlic on them, the staff are really friendly and attentive and the dining area while being slightly outdated is clean and comfortable. The prices here at Student Biryani are also really low a chicken biryani only cost $12 while the average price is around $16. A MUST visit when in Sydney
