What a great place to eat and relax. We were welcomed by the publican. As we had our little dog with us we ate in the back beer garden. The service was excellent but the food, wow, was magnificent. My wife had the lamb shanks which she said was the best she had eaten and the best was the veal fresh not frozen. I had bangers and mash and what a feed . Thank you all at the pub, we will be back.

Went there to get a meal, but were ignored. Stood there for over 5 minutes while they served men beer. They finished with them, still ignoring us so we went across the road to the Palms where 14 of us had meals . Your loss not ours. Won't go back there again.

Where do I begin to find the words that effectively articulate the absolute beauty of this place? I have found another home, a sanctuary, comfort. The atmosphere is like no other, great conversations around every corner, artwork to admire, drinks to quench your thirst and great pub feeds. I cannot thank enough everyone that puts in the effort to making this space so enjoyable. Great music to dance to and a nice cold beer in hand, a simple tranquil life yet so fulfilling. We arrived Friday evening and were welcomed by the owner…. Had a wonderful beef burgundy meal which we loved so much we had to return 7 weeks later just to have this again…. They did it specifically for us … classic country hospitality… if your passing through Tocumwal then it’s a must visit for a few drinks and a wonderful meal. They actually made us feel soooo welcome.

Who said pubs were dead ??The absolute best atmosphere I have enjoyed in such a very, very long time. Delicious meals, served by super friendly staff who actually cared about your experience. Superb surroundings, beautiful artwork, & an old fashioned publican who made sure every box was ticked. Warm & family friendly environment with open fires & rooms for every special occasion. Incredibly well set up, inside & out. If you haven't yet been, what the hell have you been doing.

Country charm at the wonderful Tattersals Hotel in Tocumwal. We enjoyed hearty meals matched with a nice red from Bendigo. The pub has lovely staff and a warm atmosphere. We had a fun evening by the fire, while chatting with locals. Would absolutely recommend.

Recent renovations lift this local pub above the rest. Meals are decent with the chicken Parma a favorite with the locals for its size and toppings. Samples the 300gm scotch with pepper sauce and was impressed.

Oh Lordy - best ever Sunday roast (ever!!!). Perfect place for relaxing winter meal, fireplace roaring and don't get me started on the meal. So many beautiful roasted meats and veggies. Gravy and Yorkshire pud were devine. Customer service was attentive and friendly. Definitely planning the 3 hr trip to return - soon!
