Getting married with these beautiful humans was a very special experience. They created a beautiful space and atmosphere, where everyone felt great warmth, acceptance and connection. Everything seemed simple, relaxed and very special. The gang went above and beyond to extend a genuine feeling of looking after me as the bride and my groom felt completely pampered in the barbers chair- with excellent effect. The wedding surpassed my expectations and became one the best days of my life. The photographer was so amazing and we were really touched by how James extended himself but made it seem effortless he's a champion. Jac the hitcher is a Tarantino silver screen goddess for sure and we are so grateful she was our celebrant, and she is also a downright lovely person! Max the chopper was fan-flipping-tastic and my groom looked so spunky and dapper. I wouldn't want to do it any other way, this team of wonderful, generous and thoughtful people are creative, passionate and masters of what they do. Trust them, leave it in their capable hands and you'll have yourself a merry old time.

These guys are amazing! Our elopement was so much more amazing than we even envisioned! pros all the way, and so patient with our 47000 emails & phone calls! After so many Covid hurdles, we were so stoked to seal the deal with these cool cats!!

This is your sign to elope.Without a doubt the best decision we have ever made or will make as a couple. Skip the wedding bs and just get hitched over a bev with the unholy trifecta.Jac was our original celebrant pre-covid before everything went to crud and she stuck with us all the way into 2022. She rolled with the punches and rescheduled on the fly all while being the rootinest tootinest cowbabe you ever did see.She really went above and beyond what her job called for and in a world of uncertainty and new horrors, Jac was the one constant that kept us sane. She got us over that line, and we are both immensely grateful for her guidance and friendship.Ben is some kind of ginger wizard with a camera because we looked fly as heck. He managed to get so many tender, candid shots you'd have sworn we had three photographers. All while keeping the vibe super relaxed. At no point did it feel unnatural or awkward. The result was a wedding album that was dark and glamorous that still managed to feel very us. We cannot recommend his talents enough.Max really set the standard for Lachlans eyebrows. You'll never be the same again because this scissor slinger with a hot towel knows his stuff.When he wasn't cracking a joke or twirling Lachlans moustache into submission, he was whipping out wine recs and serving up a tasty bev. Honestly we'd come back just for the hair cut (and probably will).In closing let me just say that the gang made us feel completely at home and put us at ease the second we walked through the door. They didn't just make the whole process easy- they made it fun. They are an honest to goodness joy to be around and we wouldn't have got hitched any other way.

We cannot recommend Damned Romantic enough. As soon as we walked in we felt comfortable, safe, and like we were with friends. They created the most perfect intimate atmosphere for the most perfect elopement. Truly the greatest time of our lives and the team at Damned Romantic were huge parts of making that happen! We would get married every weekend with them if we could.

Jac, Max, and Ben AKA the Damned Romantic Crew has got to be the best way to do a wedding.Jac is an absolute rock star with a joyful swagger, who has an ability to hold a room and also speak so calmly and considered, which draws you into the moment.Having a hot towel shave with a whisky in hand has got to be the best was to kick off, and max welds scissors like an artist.Our wedding shots are damatic, unique, and feel wholly like ourselves. There’s photos in the album that seemingly came out of nowhere and captured some truely surprising, tender, and candid moments full of joy & love. wft Ben *chef kiss*They make all make you feel so at home and happy in their ecclectic dream of a chapel, and it just feels like something you should do all the time.

Once upon a time my partner and I decided to elope. We were in the midst of a pandemic so no Vegas as we couldn’t leave Australia. I found Damned Romantic and knew after after one second that they were the one!!- super timely communication- went above and beyond to help us- amazing space- the most fantastic photographer ( we love our polas, digis and gifs and didn’t even notice Ben) and the best celebrant ever *for sure* ( Jac the babest in the Southern Hemisphere ) + Max the coolest barber ( we will come to Blackheath again just for a haircut!! )We will never forget our hitchin’ it was full of love and fun.
