Only offers Telehealth appointment if you’ve had a Covid test in the last month. Even if negative and not calling for cold & flu symptoms. Absolutely ridiculous. How is a doctor going to assess a child for an ear infection over the phone? And no chemists are open at night so no scripts can be filled anyway.

Awful service, called for a doctor at 4pm, it's now 10pm and I haven't heard anything and cannot get through to them for an update, at this stage I have no idea if a doctor is still going to arrive? Am I staying up for no reason right now?

Absolutely 100% USELESS. After countless phone calls to desperately try and get someone to see my bed ridden mother they are 100% Useless. No one can come out, no one is available in urangan blah blah blah.Don't even bother with this utter Garbage.

I would give this business a 0 Star if I could..Make sure they do not charge you if you cancel your apt after 6hrs waiting..Will not choose this non service again...

After reading many negative reviews about House Call Doctor, I was not expecting a very positive encounter when I became ill during the evening, needing medical help. I called the number, the person taking the call was extremely helpful and professional. A followup call was made to inform me that the doctor was on his way. Within 2 hours I was attended to by Dr Deepak Rohella, a very friendly and capable GP. He left me medication for the night and a script for the next day. I am totally confused as to why this 5 star service has so many negative reviews, personally I am extremely grateful to get medical help at home, out of hours, bulk billed, it sure beats a trip to the hospital with hours of waiting.

Very disappointed made an appointment they went on with their Covin bs, no to everything twice for my 4 year old Son. No show no response even re-text AMA needs to look at this...

I've tried to use this service twice in five years. The first time with a concussion and the Dr never called or attended. Today with my son whose pain level is an 8/10 and after two hours I had to cancel and take him to hospital. Despite being told by the operator that the doctor would be calling me soon, I received no call. Phoning regarding an existing appointment I was on hold for five minutes so hung up and selected new appt which got me straight through. I won't be trying this service again.

I am writing to express my disappointment with your service. Last Friday, June 15, I called your helpline approximately and the operator was very rude and abrupt. I understand that this time of year it is very busy but I don’t think this excuses rudeness.I called again after 6pm and spoke to a wonderful, caring operator who showed she listened and wanted to do everything she could to assist me. While on the phone, I received information that helped me understand each step of the process and after hanging up, felt confident I had made a good decision to use your service.After approximately two and a half hours the doctor arrived and stayed merely two minutes and walked out providing me with no treatment plan to ease my suffering. I was struggling to breathe during the consultation and shared that I have a heart condition. All he did was look in my mouth and listen to my lungs. He simply said that he could do nothing for a viral cough and left. I was hoping that he could suggest some actions I could do to ease my suffering but he appeared more interested in leaving. His manner towards me was unprofessional.I struggled through the night and hardly slept as I was coughing continually. The next morning I began coughing up phlegm that was brown in colour and at times had blood. I finally got to see another doctor who took time to do a thorough examination of my ailment. I was diagnosed with a bronchial infection and put immediately on a course of antibiotics.Because of the delay in treatment, I had to take more time off work than may have been necessary. I usually would have seen my own doctor but they were fully booked until Monday 18. The Hospital always suggest to try your service before going to them, so I thought I would follow their direction.I am left feeling as if your practitioner acted in an insufficient manner in my treatment and am recommending to all my family and friends that your service is a waste of time. Treating people with respect and being a professional despite being busy is part of the job. I don’t normally make complaints but I feel that in this case I needed to give your service this feedback.

After reading all of the negative comments, I did not have high expectations, but now after a great personal experience, I am very thankful that we have this service as an option. I called every GP in town which were open on a Saturday and nobody would see my sick toddler. As a last resort before the hospital, I called the house call doctor at 1pm, they were at my house by 4:30pm, prescribed my toddler a script for medication which I got filled right away and my son was showing signs of improvement within an hour of taking the medication! Efficient service, kind and knowledgeable GP and much better than subjecting a sick child to a large hospital waiting room. Will definitely use this service again, thank you!

Called for a doctor at 7am due to not being able to get into a doctor as I’m on holidays, I heard nothing until 1015 to say he’d probably be an hour and didn’t turn up until 240. He stomped around the corner slammed his case down looked at my eye, looked down my throat made a disgusted face, scribbled a script, did not tell me what he was giving me or what was wrong with me. Stood up closed his case and walked off. So I waited over 7 hours for a 45 sec consultation. I understand he was probably busy as it is Boxing Day, but seriously a person doesn’t have to be in a bed for you to show some bedside manner.
