Melton Waves Leisure Centre

I came here with friends for the first time and I enjoyed the time spent on the warm pool. The only feedback perhaps is the cleanliness of the female change room. It's not bad, however, it could surely be improved.

Lovely staff, young lady at reception carefully explained all our options for joining and costs, helped me fill in application and processed everything there and then. When we went to Waves for using facilities, reception guided us to where we should be, staff in the pool area made sure we were comfortable in our new environment, lifeguards on patrol for our safety. All the staff we have met were efficient, but not abrupt, caring for our welfare but allowing us freedom to do our thing. Definitely recommend this facility whatever your age.

Amazing staff! Super friendly and accomodating making my visit at the facility very enjoyable. I love that the facility caters to whatever workout I may be in the mood for, whether it be a swim, weights or a HIT class. If I could rate Melton waves higher I would!

Love what Melton Waves has to offer.I regularly use the gym and pools and always stop and say hello to the friendly staff.Once I finish my workouts I always grab a delicious coffee and snack from the onsite café before I leave.

Melton waves delivers a great swimming program, bluefit. My daughter received 1:1 support swimming and high quality teachers. Melton waves delivers wave stimulation and regards safety. Melton waves is cost effective. I will continue to use Melton waves. Area of improvement is cleaniness in the bathrooms.

the pool/spas a great, need more healthy foods but the fruit salad amazing.its disappointing when mine and partners experience was ruined when a group of older ladies came in without the correct swim wear they wore normal clothes disgusted they should of been made to leave.

Unfortunately we didn’t love the experience today at the melton wave pool. We came for a drive specifically to use the wave pool. Paid to use the area, and my participant was very excited for the waves.We enter the wave pool and hop in we wait patiently for around almost and hour and a half on and off for the waves to start.The pool staff looked miserable and unpleasant to speak to, still no waves were on.There we’re classes on the side of the wave pool area and so I believe they were not running due to classes.Which is understandable, but I feel as if your charging people to access facilities such as the wave pool, you should be notifying the patrons that it will not be on due to certain factors. There was no signage, and your pool staff didn’t regularly keep people updated.I’m sure it doesn’t sound like a big deal to most, but there was around 15 disability participants waiting for the waves to come which in my eyes is also unfair to them, as they have a right to access the wave pool despite classes happening.My participant loves the wave pool, and will often use it for their sensory needs.Despite this confusion, I hope that this feedback could be shared to improve in the future to avoid this confusion.I also just wanted to also mention that that patrons should not be responsible to keep letting the life guards know when the waves should be on. I feel that is something that should be maintained regularly, considering you offer this.How ever, the individual at the front desk today was super wonderful and very helpful, and I felt like they were an asset to your front service staff. Too much chemicals in the pool.Everytime after swimming there my face is burning, this doesn't happen at any other public pool, please switch to a salt based chemical, or use less

Poor management when busy on Australia Day. We had to wait in a line outside in the sun with children for about an hour. They where understaffed and where doing a head count every 15 minutes which felt like forever. Meanwhile the crowd in line asked for 1 out 1 in policy watching group after group leave but there where having none of it and pushed us back in a rude manner and closed the front doors to lock us all out. Once we finally got in it honestly didn't seem that busy for a public pool on a hot day. I have never been to Melton before and I can see why they call it the Wild West, I think I will go somewhere more civilised in future

Great facility with great staff! I use the gym here and it’s one of the best I’ve been too with friendly staff there to help you if you need. Love grabbing a coffee from the cafe once I’ve done my workout!
