I left dissatisfied.They took advantage of my knowledge, knowing it’s my first tax return and charged me for last year where I wasn’t claiming anything . something I could’ve did at home.btw if I knew I could claim more doing it myself, I wouldn’t have came here at all

$176 for the most simple, basic, individual tax return that I've done for FREE the last two decades AND they returned to me a tax debt $2000 MORE than what I did myself online ... FOR FREE after being concerned by the H&R return!The agent couldn't have been less interested, didn't know anything, had to go to other agents for advice and played on her mobile phone. 15 minutes, 4 questions and $176 later I receive a tax bill HIGHER than what I did myself.FAIL!!!!!

I've been using H&R block for 15 years .. Last 6 in Aspley. The office manager, Kerrie is fantastic, quick, efficient and have had zero problems getting my refund on time. I've recommended others to them who have stayed using this office. Key to a quick refund is having all your records, receipts and payslips handy.

Don't even deserve a star. I have been waiting 3 weeks for my tax return only to call the ATO and be told that it hasn't even been lodged. Thanks to Sara now I'll have to wait God knows how long for a simple tax return.Will not be going back.

Expensive for what they do compared to most others. No guidance throughout the return, I would have been better off trying to do it myself online. First appointment was over an hour for a basic return, I was told to sign stuff online, and was made to feel like an idiot because their system wouldn't work. Was then told to hand sign at the office and the documents would be waiting at the front counter. To my surprise they were not ready, and I was again made to feel as though it was my fault their online system didn't work. Be very careful going to this company. 2nd worst tax experience I have had and the one that was worse was also H&R Block.

Extremely frustrating feedback and support. Our tax return has been pending with H&R Block Aspley branch for the last three months even though we came up with the full supporting docs requested. Our follow-ups and phone calls have remained unanswered ever since. We will take our business elsewhere and stop using H&R Block from now on as a result.
