Lovely Nails

got my nails done yesterday, the actual paint is already peeling off, even though it’s meant to be shellac. don’t recommend this place at all, was $60 and they also look so bad regardless, i wish i could post a photo on here of them but google reviews don’t let you x

Absolutely disgusting service today. 23/12/22 sure, they’re busy it’s the Christmas rush, I get it. Lined up outside before opening, asked to get a single nail fixed where the shellac had chipped after getting them done the week before. “Sorry we’re too busy, please come back next week”Like what!? I was waiting in the line and there were plenty of people available to assist. Only after I INSISTED quite politely but basically pleading my case did they help me. It took less than 5 minutes as expected and all other people getting their nails done were commenting loudly how they were happy to wait and how RUDE the staff were.Water off a ducks back for them, they don’t care. After coming here for 9 years, I will never set foot in there again.

friendly service however my nails are crooked and i probably have more nail polish on my fingers than what i do on my nails. they charged $70 for an acrylic set but not the greatest outcome. slightly disappointed :/

So rude, they won’t even look at you or acknowledge you as a human being. Also takes way too long and they swap technicians multiple times during your manicure. Horrible experience.

5 stars for general service prior to Saturday 7th January.The technician was very pretty but had a very rude and abrupt manner.Had worst manicure yet, I would say acceptable, whereas I normally love the manicure and nail colour and effect. And I am never made feel awful by other technicians.I will use the business again, however, she will never be doing my nails again.I also find it extremely rude to talk in a foreign language (not just a little) the WHOLE time I am having my nails done. I understand that not everyone has English as first language I am OK with that, but know that if I spoke to everyone else in any language whilst serving a client, and ignoring the client they would also be feeling very under valued.So sorry to give bad review.. I am very happy with lovely nails and this was just one extremely rude individual

I had shellac on my nails, the technician was good but I didn't like that the table didn't seem like it had been cleaned, which is concerning for obvious reasons.

Absolutely atrocious service, I ended up walking out before they even started, asked for help with my colours, showed her a picture, she said choose yourself and just kept repeating that.Getting a Manicure is supposed to be a treat, for this place it is simply churning through as many customers as possible with as little customer service as possible.

Came in to get a full set of acrylics, only to be ignored because the person who does the nail art I was wanting was to tired to do another set, when he was asked again he then proceeded to say it would cost me $100 when it’s only ever cost me $80 when I’ve had the same set before? The staff was extremely rude and I’m beyond gutted as I’ve been coming here for years and have never experienced this kind of treatment.I wish I didn’t even have to give you a star but I have to in order to post.

I came here after arriving in Hobart from Brisbane for a wedding. I chose to get my nails done the day before so that they were fresh. I got a shellac mani/pedi. A waste of $90 because my mani peeled off within 24 hours. By the time I was flying home on Sunday I had nothing left on my fingers (yet my pedi is still perfect, done by the younger girl who provided fantastic service). I wasn’t going to say anything at the time as I think the mani lady was still in training and I am more than understanding of that, so I put up with her not even speaking to me and instead just tapping my hands without clear direction of what she wanted me to do. I put up with her painful cuticle cutting and ripping where she was pressing down really hard on my nails with the clippers. I put up with her disappearing to take her break without even telling me what was going on (to a point where I asked my pedi lady if they knew I was getting a mani too). But what I won’t put up with is the fact that I paid so much money just for my nails to come off after a weekend when they should last weeks. My nails were completely smooth underneath the gel so no roughing was done to actually bond the gel. I thought this was a new technique so again I didn’t say anything, I’m not a nail lady and I don’t know any better, but I do know I should not be paying $90 when I could’ve just done nail polish myself at home and it still be intact. I travel to Hobart frequently and I won’t be coming back here.
