Kinchega Woolshed
One of the highlights of out trip to Menindee/Mungo/Balranald. The woolshed rather than be restored, it's restored to look and feel as it was. The self guided tour from the info centre is essential to really understand the flow/process from paddock to pen. There's so much more to a sheep shearing shed than I ever knew. Loved it!

Great place. Restored to a yester year feel. Imagine shears today working in those conditions. A must visit.

It was great to step back in time. Good info on the history. Tools, buggies, and sheep pens are still in place. You can still smell the wool. The road was dry and easy for 2wd cars.

A walk back in time. As if time stopped in the 1880's. All quiet today but would have been a hive of activity in its heyday. Takes a drive on a dirt road to get to, but worth the drive. A great little museum. Highly recommended!

Great insight into the hard Aussie life back in the day, well signed/explained, and some good condition old equipment.

Amazing to walk around these places and imagining what life was like all those years ago. The place is very interesting and signage is well done.
