EP Cruises - Fowlers Bay Whale Tours

Cruised with EP twice - once out of Fowlers bay for a whale watching tour and another time on their Nuyts Expedition out of Streaky Bay. Rod and his crew have always been very generous with their knowledge and making sure everyone on the tour is well taken care of. All around great guys - a must do if you’re visiting the Ceduna area. Nuyts was such an amazing experience full of wildlife and history with so much more to discover - definitely planning a third trip back

5 stars all round!The skipper Rod and Scott were very professional and friendly, making sure that everyone on board felt special.Rod is very passionate and knowledgeable about the whales in his bay and is happy to answer all questions thrown at him.We were Surrounded by whales at one stage and Rod manoeuvred his boat expertly so that everyone on the boat got a wonderful view of the whales.It was so good I’m going again his afternoon!Highly recommend visiting Fowlers Bay and make sure to to book a cruise for a truly memorable experience. Great cruise with them seeing whales, sea lions, dolphin and even a sea eagle.Worth the drive from Ceduna for the day and a must if you are in this area.

This was exceptional. Everything from the knowledge and friendliness of skipper and crew- to the incredible viewing of so, so many whales - mothers , their calf’s and even the brand new white one . Getting there by road coming from the west (bight center), take the second turn-off to Fowlers Bay as the road is far better, if you are travelling from the east (Ceduna) then be sure to take the first exit towards Fowlers Bay for the best road. (Aug2022)Now on to the EP Cruise... fantastic, the crew from start to finish were great, make you feel welcome and had a great sense of humor.Definitely worth making sure you do the cruise if your trip is to see up close Whales at that time of year.Covid Safe practices, hot drink and biscuits on the cruise.

Do yourself a favour and go on this cruise! The customer service was great, the skipper and crew were friendly and very knowledgeable and the boat was in great shape- so all of that side of things was 5 star. Then there were the WHALES! The cruise is truly centred around them, and it delivers. We spent 3/4 of the entire cruise time among the whales and really had the opportunity to experience them. I think we saw 8 pairs. A true snapshot into the life of Southern Right Whale mums and calves. I will absolutely recommend this to my friends and family.Nb: I took my 1 and 3 year old on board and it was more than manageable, they had a fabulous time!

Not knowing what to expect as whale season has only just started, today my wife and I jumped on a whale watching tour with EP cruises at Fowlers Bay.Within minutes of leaving the pier we spotted our first Southern Right Whale.Chatting to our skipper and guide Rod, his passion and depth of knowledge for these majestic ocean giants was immediately obvious. The story of these whales and the history of the bay is wildly fascinating.Throughout the tour we saw several mother and calves, one of which was just a few days old! What a magical place, if you ever get the chance it’s well worth a visit!

Such an amazing experience with Rod, Simone and the team with Ep cruises..We had such a great experience with whales breaching out of the water as soon as we left the jetty !Rods jokes are hilarious, the whales are stunning and can’t wait to come back for our 3rd visit !Thanks again,Mick and Justine

Was lucky enough to go out twice with this company. They really go out of their way to ensure the best chance of seeing whales. They are also extremely sensitive to the whales and are very careful to not approach too closely. Will be back!
