Nova Kiama

My partner and I had a very pleasant stay over the weekend. The hotel is in a convenient location close to town and coastal walks. The room was clean and comfortable!

I tried their coffee, beautiful, not only that but the cafe style is out there so unique. Plenty of space in and out. Gorgeous staff, Renee, Skye, and all the other girls so so helpful and lovely. Coffee 7 am to 7 pm. Give it a go. God bless you

Fantastic service & good value for what we paid. We would very happily stay again. Loved the soaps & shampoo/ conditioners. But as a previous reviewer said for a 4 star hotel - the main bed was 2 small singles very obviously together, mattress OK. There are 3 hooks on the wall for hanging clothes - but no real hanging cupboard for clothes.

My Wife, 3yr old, and I stayed 1 night. The Staff had made up a little bed for my son. He was stoked. The room was tidy and the Staff are so helpful and friendly. It was rather cold outside so we did not use the pool even though it looked amazing. We explored the blow-hole and town of Kiama which is on the doorstep of the hotel. We would definitely stay again and hopefully longer next time.

As a business traveller, the location was fantastic. Everything in walking distance. The only let down was my room had no hair dryer (thankfully I had brought one with me), no wardrobe to hang my clothes and no iron/ironing board. Otherwise, the room was super clean and comfortable with great facilities. I loved that you could also order from the pub next door and they would deliver to your door if you wanted that option. I will definitely stay here again for both business and leisure knowing what I need to bring, especially for business travel.

Lovely staycation at the Nova! Really clean and the pool was just perfect getting sun early in morning to relax! Location in middle of town and near water! It’s a great little hotel ticking all the boxes even with coffee van downstairs!

Although the staff were amazing (reception & house keeping) & the location was within walking distance to everything you need, I found the room a tad disappointing for the cost.We could see a glimpse of the ocean from the Juliet balcony (you can stand but not sit and chill on it). Our room was on a busy road, next to the train station so it was hard to sleep at times, especially on bin day!Room service (for lunch/dinner) from the pub next door was convenient and the meals were OK (pizza nothing special). The Kombi van Cafe was great though and highly recommended.There wasn't a cupboard to unpack with only 2 coat hangers to try and hang dresses/shirts on little hooks.The bathroom was pokey and the shower screen didn't stop the water from going all over the floor - so you'll need new mats everyday although they try and encourage you to reuse towels.The product packaging was so funny, although it was sulphur based (not natural) and with an allergy, I luckily had taken my own products.The pool area was ok but not huge so pick your time to go down. Complimentary towels from reception were handy though.And finally, the bed was 2 singles joined together with an obvious gap/bump in the middle which made it hard for cuddling up. It was uncomfortable and not how a bed in a quality hotel should be - you shouldn't be able to tell it's 2 beds joined.So location & staff would be 5 stars, but room and amenities bring down my rating.
