Rob Moffat Appliance Repairs

Just be very careful when using the repair service.We had a fault (F24) on our Miele dishwasher, majority of cases are a broken heat relay.I was first told to dry the machine with a hairdryer, this obviously didn’t work. A technician then came at the cost of $99. He spent 15 mins or so doing something and ignoring my comments that 9/10 times it’s a heat relay.Got the machine working, we were given advice to only use hot washes. Not short or low temperature washes. We were also told that what he did (whatever it was) would fix the problem 9/10 cases.In fact, it worked for his one cycle and broke again.I contacted Miele, they sent an engineer very quickly, he changed the heat relay, did full diagnostics of the machine and found no other faults. The machine is now fully working. He also laughed at the recommendations of only longer and hot washes.My advice- use technicians from the company of the machine - they had all the diagnostic equipment and are specialists in the brandIt was a wasted week waiting for Rob Moffat to not fix the problem and I’m $99 out of pocket which they will not reimburse.

From start to finish an absolute disaster. Technician has no people/communication skills , procedures of placing an order for a part were nonsensical, between initial call out and fitting of part was almost 7 weeks.

Great service and fantastic expertise particular as my washing machine is over 21 years old. Nothing is a problem for Rob that he does not have a solution for.

Very bad experience overall, this company needs to do better.Technician that attended was ok, but as others have pointed out, the lady on the phone was so unfriendly and rude right from the start of the call with a very horrible tone in her voice and a bad attitude for no apparent reason.All I wanted to know was a simple answer to my question, when my dishwasher would be fixed. I enquired very calmly and reasonably and finally she eventually said they need to order parts from Melbourne.When kindly asking for an ETA on the parts, she started complaining, signing and moaning instead of answering the question then started making false accusations and blaming me for a miscommunication between them and Asko.Hang up the call still without any answers or ETA saying that I'm not sure I even do the job anymore".. wow

I Highly recommend Rob Moffat Appliance repairs, from the moment I called the lady in the office was great and organised a appointment the next day and the repair man came on time, was extremely professional and very knowledgeable, educated me on the issue I had. I'm very, very happy with the service the team provided me. Instead of having to wait 10 days for the manufacturer service and others I contacted I was sorted the next day. I will 100% recommend and use Rob Moffat Appliance repairs if I need to again in the future thanks so much
