I’ve been a client here for years and years and my animals (dogs, cats and rabbits) have always been treated with such care. Doctor Andy and Doctor David have both been highlights for me. The lovely ladies at reception are warm and welcoming and Raquel always went above and beyond. We’ve also lost a few pets over the years and they’ve always been so caring and supportive through the process. Highly recommend.

Excellent team who very kindly fit us in when our little cavoodle was feeling unwell during our weekend trip to Hunter Valley. Cannot thank them enough for the care shown towards our dog and for putting our minds at ease. Highly recommend!

They call themselves vets but they do not care for animals. If your pet is having an emergency, don’t expect them to see them or help them. They require notice for an appointment. Multiple calls from the morning to get my dog seen, multiple updates and they refused to see him and said take him to the after hours vet ‘if he worsens overnight’. Yeah, he worsened BEFORE YOU CLOSED for the day. He died, despite your vet telling us he “should be fine to wait until tomorrow”.I would advise everyone to steer clear. We brought all our animals here but after being denied an appointment and having my dog die in my arms I will tell everyone I know to avoid your practice if they need quality care (or any care at all to be frank).

Sascha in her prime, 2012. 6 years old. Sasha in 2023 over 18 years old and not long to go.Sascha had a few health problems over the years, some very serious including knee surgery. C.V.H. were there every step of the way. Dedicated, Experienced, Professionals on every level.C.V.H. an asset to Cessnock and the broader community.

I love these guys and can not thank them all enough after saving my cat from a snake bite. Everyone at the clinic is absolutely awesome. 100 out of 100 from me. Thank you cessnock veterinary centre so much!

Always helpful and always caring toward our pets. The vets don't charge for phone consults to discuss returned results and are prompt to write necessary scripts.

Very caring professional bunch of good staff, l have found the vets to be up front, about your pets health,, any questions issues are addressed.
