Kitty’s Gorge Walk Trail
Positives - Happy with the new restrooms and good facilities for picnic at Serpentine end. Friendly rangers and ticketing booth staff.Lovely Flora and Fauna and stunning landscape .Negatives - Trail needs better signage, especially confusing between the cottage and the waterfall ( photo attached)Path can definitely be widened in some areas, especially around the waterfall section and made more accessible and safer with discreet handgrips installed along the craggy bits with very uneven surfaces .No toilets on the Jarrahdale side.

Great trail. We did the 1.5km loop which was perfect. Lots to look at on the way - we went on a wet weather day. Recommend not wearing your good sneakers as a few spots were quite muddy. Overall very easy trail with some steep bits. Quiet enough, we passed 4 other families/couples/walkers during our 1hour there.

A mother nature treasure... the rainfall we have had created the stunning waterfall at Kitty's Gorge... perfect hiking/running trails and you just have to get out there to soak it all up

What a great walk! My wife and I did this today, 16 klm return. We started at Jarrahdale cemetery. Took us just over four hours. Easy parking at start of trail, no toilets facilities until you get to Serpentine Falls end. Parking at falls end is very nice, but looks like it fills up pretty quick, we got there about 10:30am and the place was pretty busy, lots of people setting up to use BBQ and seating areas, really nice spot.. The walk itself is great, awesome country and given the time of year we went, the water was really flowing, great sets of falls at multiple areas along the way. You cross the creek/river multiple times with good foot bridges installed. Bird life was awesome, blue rens were a highlight. Saw Kangaroo's and of course two joe blakes (see pic). One was right across the trail the other was moving pretty fast once he heard us. My wife and I are in our fifty's, she had a few rests on a couple of the uphill parts, but by no means a fit" person and we did it no worries! We did have good hiking boots

Rated this trail 5 stars for sure! Hidden gem!A class 4 walk trail that include rough ground and some steep sections. These tracks are suggested for people with experience bush walking, mostly uneven surfaces. At the begging of the track, bump into a 10m height of acacia tree (golden wattle)!A delight to walk — lush forest, wildflowers and sitting on the granite rock (next to the falls) for a coffee break!Parked next to the Jarrahdale cemetery. A 3.5km walk to waterfalls and back on same track to carpark, instead of heading to serpentine falls.

Absolutely stunning walk. Takes a good hour, worth parking a car at each end. One near jarrahdale cemetary and one at serpentine
