Always a pleasure walking into this store. Lovely people with their helpful service and always a great bargain or two... they have a pop up stall in the middle of the hall way so it's always got good little gifts in there, especially for this time of year.

Lots of selection available, and when I looked lost staff were quick to assist and give helpful advice. Friendly staff and store was easy to find in centre. Not disability accessible, but feel staff would be willing to assist where possible.

The lovely ladies in here are efficient and friendly. They are also full of reading recs and myself and my kids have enjoyed a few books which we purchased on the staff's recommendation. They are always happy to help.

I adore this book store and the ladies who work here. Each one of them is friendly, kind and professional. They clearly enjoy working at the store and this is evident in the welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere that’s present. Helping you find something is never a hassle. I also appreciate that you can order things in and that QBD has a membership system that’s actually worth signing up for. I also love that they don’t pressure people into joining. The price for books at QBD may be higher than other retailers but the service you receive makes it worth it imo. I have many books, a vast majority of them are from QBD and that’s because of the employees that run the store here in Mackay.
