This is one of my favourite breakfast places to visit. The food is delicious and fresh, and their spicy Mexican drinks are awesome. If you visit, be sure to sit in the cosy back garden area!

Went here last night for a second date with a girl from Mexico and the food was absolutely authentic, delicious, fresh, and served quickly with a smile. I have not eaten better Mexican food anywhere else in Brisbane, and my Mexican friend was also super impressed. When someone from the cusine's origin country is impressed, you know this restaurant must be doing something right. I'm going back to try their breakfast next week :) The only issue we had was actually finding the place - which is more of a me issue than them - so for those who are going to check it out, it's directly across the street from Cold Rock (just take the zebra-crossing and you will be there).

Fantastic little authentic Mexican cafe/restaurant we come here often we had chilaquiles and quesadillas and empanadas they were very tasty and full of real Mexican flavour. Try the coffee too and Mexican jamaica water. The owners are Mexican and are super friendly everything you find on the menu is like you were in Mexico highly recommend it. The prices are very good too.

After putting the call out for some feedback on FB for patrons of MDL, I got 90% positive reviews, so I figured I'd have to try this place myself. The location is great in the Village of Wilston, but parking around there can be a bit sparse. The ambience is nice, quite authentically Mexican with bright vibrant colours. The waiter was nice but a little quiet and it was difficult to hear his responses. The food was GREAT. We all enjoyed our meals and it is definitely authentic Mexican and not the Americanised Tex Mex. Would definitely recommend the Huarache. The cocktails were good too. 4 and a half stars!

Wonderful breakfast time at Mama de Luna. The coffee was perfect and the food was terrific, it had that home-made taste that makes it even better. A perfect breakfast.

Our party of 4, while arriving later at 7.30pm, really enjoyed the array of ample and delicious fare on offer from their menu. Authentic, hearty and flavoursome we shared 2 starters and a main each. Very filling. The wait staff were flexible in modifying starter dish for 4 and while we had to wait a long time for drinks, being a Saturday night and extremely busy, the wait was well worth it. The bloody and jalapeño margueritas were exceptional and the selection of wines very good. Reasonably priced and lovely family vibe amongst the staff who were very accommodating and attentive. We’ll be back!

While their cafe is closed, I am glad they still have this restaurant. Love the food. The closest thing to authentic Mexican I’ve had in Australia (as someone who grew up in Mexico). We have taken friends here and they all loved it too.
