I took some clean copper in and the price was good....but they don't weight correctly, no decimal point which means if it weighed 6.9kg you only get paid for 6kg. Rip offs

Don’t sell your metal here. It’s a waste of time and they’ll happily rip you off. When I wasn’t looking, they took one of my buckets of metal and I told them and they just looked clueless. 5 minuets later they found it, but there was some metal missing from it. I probably should have said something but at that point I just wanted to leave. A very unnecessary downfall is that they actually don’t give proof of how much your metals weigh. Everything is poorly organised.To put it simply,Take your scrap metal somewhere else if you want to be in a little bit more control of the situation and to be completely aware if you’re getting ripped off or not .

After much thought I did visit this business again as their prices and service are equal to if not better than most and after speaking with the owner changed my bank for receiving payments to the same bank that they're with and have not experienced the same payment problems or any payment problems since to date

I live at Wyee and have had my recycle bin not collected on the last to collections we have never had a problem in the past in all the years of recycling we even pay for a larger bin.My wife has complained about the service and the answer we got was there was a camera tripod in the bin.This tripod is little more than 600 mm in length and made of aluminium I fail to see what the problem is.To weeks prior also no pickup because I had prices of bird wire cut up in sections 350mm square not even rusty.Could somebody please reply as we are at our Witt's end to get the problem rectified .Awaiting response

Went there yesterday for the first time in many years to dispose of a small amount of scrap copper and brass. Things were quite busy but staff were very efficient and courteous and I was served promptly. I would recommend Hunter Recyclers to others.

5 stars considering site size/staff/Industry knowledge and competency.Staff are courteous and know their jobs well.Just drive in with care as there is usually activity in the courtyard,if selling continue into the shed where weighing takes place,empty and move vehicle then head to the office for payment details.All payments are made in your bank account now,I find this quite good for budgeting.After talking to the owner I can now drop off any ferrous scrap into the courtyard drop-off area and as above selling will take place inside the shed.Spoken to 3 scrap yards locally so far,this one is by far the best.

Absolutely would not go back there ever againBeen waiting for payment 11 hours blamed his plumber said his computer was turned off and couldn't connect to the bank never again dead set liars don't go there look ya in the eye and lie.Only gave em zero cause there's no negative stars.Only gave them a star because you have too, to post a review
