Jewel in the crown of Wynyard.......sits on an iconic river....great walking tracks...bbq facilities.....where can you find something so unique at the bottom of the main street!!

Came over for the Tulip Festival held here and it was wonderful. Huge stretch of grass along the water makes for an amazing venue.There was live music, tons of stalls, and more people than we had anticipated! It’s clearly THE event for Wynyard!We parked a few streets back in a residential area which allowed us the nice stroll through downtown towards the Wharf.Will try and go here when there isn’t a festival just to enjoy the pathways and take in all the beautiful nature.

Smack on the mouth of the Inglis river an a stone throw from the ocean along wynyards foreshore (beachs) Gutteridge gardens (park) theres a wonderful fish an chip shop best for miles around or an excellent picnic area to the other side that leads on to kilometers of bush tracks with easy walking tracks you can loose hours of time wondering about by the river the wild life is to be seen to belieaved just there for the viewing great family environment
