Having heard such good things about this place, I decided to take my VW in for a service as I’d only just moved to the area. Never again, I was greatly disappointed. Very rude customer service. Was told I needed a timing belt change, so they ordered The kit in and had my car half a day and then rang me to tell me they didn’t have the tool to do it, and it wasn’t worth their time and money to invest in one to get it done? If I had known this from the beginning I would of taken my car elsewhere to have service/timing belt done at the same time. Also my car has been in “service mode” ever since I brought it home. The woman I spoke to when picking the car up was very lovely, the man on the other hand was very condescending and rude from the beginning. So I’d say a no go if you happen to have a VW Polo that needs a timing belt done.

Been there a few times for servicing my Ford Ranger and last time for a transfer case seal replacement. Been happy with the service on all occasions.

This business went above and beyond when our car was diagnosed with a faulty belt tensioner and needed a drive belt replacement on our travels towing a van from Queensland. Within an hour of diagnosis the part was ordered and when the problem was a bit more involved it was the same result. They had us on the road again in a day and a half. Kudos to Fleurieu Automotive.

I used Fleurieu Automotive to replace an alternator after having the RAA diagnose the issue. Within a week of this work being done, I booked my car in for a service with my regular mechanic who works elsewhere and wasn't available to deal with the alternator issue. He was appalled with the mess that was left describing it as 'a very rough job' and felt embarrassed as a mechanic knowing that there were other so called mechanics out there with such poor skills. At first glance the adjustment bracket that sits on top of the alternator was upside down. The oil filter had been removed and replaced dented with oil leaking from it. The splash plate under the oil filter had been broken and the long mounting bolt nut had been rounded off from the incorrect use of a socket. When I contacted Fleurieu Auto to pass on this feedback, I felt I wasn't believed. The man did say he would look into it but have not heard anything back. I am very disappointed with my experience with this company especially since it is affiliated with the RAA who I believed was a trusted service.

There honest and done a great job diagnosing my vehicle of its problem and didn't charge me To let me know what the problem was thanks guys I appreciate it alot.

I have my Kia Sorento looked after here. They fo a great job, not just with servicing but with all repairs, even sorced parts from wreckers. No complaints. Great staff, friendly that will drop you home and collect you when your car is ready. Ready for our trip. Thankyou great work as always.
