This is a gem of a restaurant on the NW Coast. Consistently great food, service and atmosphere. The Parmesan/truffle fries are worth a visit alone. I recommend it to everyone. The friendly, customer focused service is also a highlight.

Exceptional pairing of flavours and the portion is very generous. Save room for dessert!! Blood orange Daiquiri is also a must. Seasons by the sea is a must, especially if you want a culinary delight.

Seasons by the Sea
We were passing though Penguin in August on our way to Devonport and came across this gem right on water. We stopped for lunch and ordered pizza and pink ling tempura. The meals were great, very tasty, with lots of fresh ingredients. Service was great, friendly and relaxed. Being a cold windy day, we were seated in the large sunny room facing the ocean. Perfect spot for a casual lunch on our travels.

What a delicious dinner, comfortable atmosphere and beautiful view. The waitress was kind and helpful, and the manager was welcoming. We loved it and can’t wait to come back.

This restaurant was immaculate in presentation serving excellent tapas. The service was top rate and run by a very dedicated family who were very friendly. Our family really enjoyed our late lunch here at Penguin.

I would give a 3.5 if I had the choice. This is a nice decent venue, pretty small, and gets quite loud.The staff are very friendly and work hard to be good hosts. Some of the meals were very tasty, we did have a couple of meals that seemed to be in a fryer that the oil had been burnt in?Unfortunate, however the staff offered another dish and didn't make us pay for it, so I was impressed that they took the right path to rectify the situation.I feel like the prices were a little high for the dishes, and the tapas, whilst tasty , wasn't necessarily portion right for sharing(the point of tapas)The back ground music was bizarre(mostly an 80's, 90's mix)and not normally something I would comment on but it was just that off pointI could easily give a better rating if they got their ambiance, meals/pricing polished up.I personally would go and try again. As they seemed like great people.
