Purely Curls Brisbane

Purely curls is a wonderful salon for curly girls! I was fortunate to have my hair cut by Dana- she is the most attentive, considerate, kind and lovely hairdresser I have come across! I really appreciated the education and take home pack provided. Will definitely be revisiting.

My daughter is almost 3 and had her first haircut with Dana and we loved the experience. Lots of knowledge and tips were shared and we will definitely come back. I feel relieved that I found a hairdresser that will guide us and keep my daughter's beautiful curls healthy and bouncy.

Amanda and Peter are always very helpful and friendly. I have learned a lot about how to manage my curly hair and really appreciate the education that Purely Curls has provided.

I have been to a dozen places in Brisbane and thrown good money at salons to look after my hair. But none have compared to this one! My first session here, not only did I get a great dry curl cut, but I also learnt to manage my South Indian curls without frizz and I literally haven't touched my GHD since. It's reasonable priced too. I cannot recommend this place enough. I've been going for the past 1.5 yrs.See below my after shot ;)

I do not recommend this business as I had a rather uncomfortable experience with them. I have straight to somewhat wavy hair, and have begun to take an interest in trying to get it wavier. I was recommended this salon knowing that it was for curls, so I thought I would give it a shot. I went through all the usual booking procedures which includes filling out forms, describing your hair goals and even sending through pictures. I explicitly stated I wanted to get the best out of my waves.I heard nothing back, my deposit was accepted so I assumed that everything was all good. This was prebooked. This was done about a month in advance. Upon showing up on the day, I was greeted and told along the lines of you do understand that your hair will probably the same and it won't make any different."This approach was very unprofessional and I was taken off guard. I didn't know how to react as I felt unwelcome here. Thankfully

100% recommend for people with curly hair. I had despaired of mine and Peter and Amanda were complete angels and performed miracles. They are extremely knowledgeable about the cutting and caring for of your hair, and teach you the magic to continue yourself at home. You wont regret booking and your hair will thank you for it.

Wonderful time having my hair fed!! It really needed it and Peter gave me all the info and directions to continue on at home afterwards. Their care package was excellent too. I was able to get all the products I needed to replicate the stages done in my treatment!
