Avocado Sunset Bed & Breakfast

Mel and Jilly made us feel very welcome and were terrific hosts. Breakfasts are big and fill you up. Very delicious food with super fresh produce served daily. Stunning views and so relaxing. Could not fault the Avocado Sunset for a quick getaway.

Jilly & Mel were lovely hosts. They were very accommodating & went above & beyond to make the stay extra special. I wished I could have stayed longer. The views & sunset are so serene. I will go back again & hopefully experience more that Mount Tamborine has to offer.

Wow what an amazing break away we had , so relaxing. Jilly and Mel are top hosts so friendly and very welcoming you enter as guests but leave as friends . We stayed in the safari room ,the view was amazing ,then you have the double spa that is positioned so you see the amazing view out over the Hinterland.Breakfast in the morning is gorgeous, firstly given a beautiful fresh handmade fruit salad ,you then have choices also for cooked breakfast .Definitely if your looking for that quite relaxing getaway this is the place to go in Tamborine Mountain also so close to everything you would like to do .

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Owners were fantastic hosts. Parking space is right above from the staircase leading the house. The rooms were well equipped. Lovely, comfy and clean. The host personally cook and serve the breakfast. Balcony view was amazing, so relaxing and peaceful. Highly recommend!!

We chose Avocado Sunset for our Wedding night stay (plus an extra night)Jilly & Mel helped up to create some wonderful memories!Their passion for hospitality exudes from them. Warm, friendly and so very welcoming. The food was fantastic, the service superior & our room Daintree" felt like we were the only 2 people there.The western views are brilliant - unfortunately my phone doesn't see what the naked eye does.We have already recommended several of our friends & family to go stay at the Avocado Sunset.Thankyou Jilly & Mel for a memorable stay

Great B&B for a romantic getaway. The themed rooms and amazing view and spa was exactly what we needed for a relaxing weekend. Very close to Mnt Tambourine for a those scenic hikes and the spas in our Dainty room was a perfect way to unwind. Jily and Mel were fantastic and lovely hosts! Would highly recommend. The breakfast was lovely and super wholesome, thank Mel :).

My husband surprised me with a couple of nights away for my birthday in the mountains. It was my first time at a Bed and Breakfast and it was just absolutely amazing, I loved every minute of it! Jill and Mal, thank you so kindly for letting us into your home! I am still thinking about those scrumptious breakfasts you made with love.. just delicious! Thank you again to the both of you, the husband and I will definitely be coming back:)

My partner and I spent an incredible two nights at Avocado Sunset, staying in the Daintree Room. From the amazing views in the well kept rooms, to the character and homely feeling of the communal lounge and dining area, everything was perfect. The large spa bath was a definite drawcard for us and did not disappoint! The hosts, Jilly and Mel, are delightful and will go out of their way to ensure you have a pleasant stay. They also cook a great breakfast and are incredibly knowledgeable about the area. We took advantage of their recommendations of places to go and things to do around The Mountain, and we’re glad we did!If you’re looking at staying somewhere around Tamborine Mountain, and are looking for a little luxury in a place that has a lot of character and heart, you can’t go wrong with Avocado Sunset.

This is a fantastic B&B with lovely friendly hosts! We stayed in the Mediterranean room which was beautiful with a huge terrace which was perfect for watching the magnificent sunset. Breakfast was also fantastic and all freshly cooked by the hosts. Overall a wonderful place to stay and sad we were only there for one night!
