Great coffee!Love it. And great pastries and bread!Not a breakfast place though.Ordered breakfast a couple of times...took ages to arrive and when it did arrive, it was small and no taste. The staff who make breakfast seem incompetent and unprofessional.

Was 5 stars value about 12 months ago. Clearly they're having trouble with staffing and service has diminished. We were happy to find a good local bakery but recently the quality of the bread is a disappointment, the loaves being smaller and slightly overcooked. Wonder if they have these issues in mind and are working on sorting them out? Shop was closed a couple of weeks ago for about 10 days so something must be causing them trouble.

disappointed with service + coffee. Ordered an Iced Chai latte for close to $8 and it tasted like milk! Service wise - I ordered the iced chai latte, confirmed my order, and asked conversationally if they also did matcha lattes. the waitress started making a matcha latte instead and had the nerve to clack her tongue disapprovingly when I told her I had ordered an Iced chai instead. My two stars go to their banh mi's, which are tasteful and also at a decent price.

Excellent baguettes, great coffee seriously let down by disorganised service from the lady owner. Always new assistant getting trained. This leads to distraction & lack of attention to detail. Whether it be missing items from order or not receiving the item that you order. This disorganisation also contributing to long wait times. Not a business to frequent if you are in a hurry or if you demand excellent customer service. This review reflects several visits & is not based on one visit. Sadly I don’t hold out much hope of the situation changing. 2% surcharge for cards!Update: May 2022Le Pain is over. Shop has a For Le Ase sign in the window. Hopefully the lady has retired from operating any business ever again.

This place is a Turramurra treasure. Great to finally have real Vietnamese Banh Mi this side of the bridge. Baguettes are crunchy but don’t break your mouth, filling is fresh and not drowned in sauce.Had an oat milk chai and it was done well. Will try their coffee next time.Chocolate croissants are also amazing! Crunchy and buttery. Not dry. Love that they do a smaller size. Don’t come here if you’re giving up bread, haha.Glad I finally tried this place out. Can see what the fuss is about

I watched the manager tell a member of staff that she was worthless. She can't seem to keep staff for more than a few days. Do not support this establishment. There are plenty of other cafes in the area that are more deserving of your money.

The saddest bahn mi ever. Lettuce and tofu no veggies no picked carrot or radish. Is tiny and is $12.

Manager is publicly cruel to young, clearly untrained staff. Saw her absolutely screaming at a young girl today- no wonder other reviews say they cant keep staff and service stays slow. Would never give more money to this place.

Ordered a (joe) beef burger, which should of had beetroot, onion, tomato and lettuce with sauce. I received a small piece of beef(steak) with a bunch of carrot, tomato, and a side of tomato on a bun. I asked the lady to re make with what was on the menu. Again what i received was not on the menu. This time a did get beetroot and onion, no lettuce and no sauce, but i did get extra beef and cheese. Because i got extra beef, i didnt want to continue to complain, as it was obviously pointless. Ive been here twice before no issues. Im guessing due to the owner being there. So i wont return if i do not see the owner in future.
