Hollow Butt Cafe

A really good spot for a good coffee or lunch, with good and quick service. The chicken burger is particularly good.I give it only 4 stars, because the fish burger I had was disappointing. A thin piece of battered fish in a long role, with some meaningless veggies. Hardly a fish burger.

Recommended by other reviews suggesting that they had the best pies so we went to try them out while in the area. Have to agree the pies and sausage rolls were definitely really good and the owners are very friendly.

Kind service and great food. We shared some chips, an egg and bacon burger and a beef pie. All tasted well. Definitely worth a visit.

Lovely staff and nice country atmosphere however takeaway coffee is only in a large cup which o ly has one shot of coffee.. large cups need 2 shots otherwise it is tasteless..

I visited this cafe just over a week ago while hiking the Bibbulmun Track. My friends and I all bought chicken and salad rolls and coffees as we crave a nice healthy lunch after days on the track. I feel the owner of this cafe would benefit from having a mystery shopper order one of these and then the owner taste it as it was the worst salad roll I’ve ever eaten (and I eat them in every country town I visit). The bread was stale and dense and the filling tasted terrible. Even hiker hunger didn’t make these roles edible. Extremely disappointing when this was the ONLY option for food in the town at that time.
