Blackwood Hill Reserve
Great safe dog friendly reserve. Facilities for both dogs and people very good. People who go there are friendly and responsible dog owners, just a pity certain persons leave side perimeter gates open that can reduce dog safety.

Nice park, lots of walking trails also suitable for mountain bike riding. Had a nice walk, will come back to try the intermediate Trails.

Beautiful spot. Perfect for dog walkers, kids who like to explore and anybody who enjoys spending some time imagining they are walking through a fairy tale forest. Worth taking the time to read the signs with the history of the orchard and exploring the house ruins with it's outlook over Coromandel Valley. Bring a picnic or coffee (Bake Bakery nearby is amazing) to enjoy the views and peaceful setting.

Lot's of great walking trails. Birds, koalas and greybox woodland. Kangaroos if you're early in the morning. Nice winter creek.

Blackwood Hill Reserve
Nice rest area by the Trevor Terrace entry.Lots of paths to make it a round trip. Tall trees and dense understorey along the creek and gullies, open woodland on the plateau.
