Genki Cafe & Sushi
This cafe is set on the busy road that heads up to Mt Tamborine but it’s lovely & quiet with parking at the back. The sushi was fresh & tasty & the coffee was good.. Service was great, they also have choices if you don’t want sushi They also do takeaways if your short on time. A hidden gem & nice to have somewhere to go that supports locals away from shopping centres. Definitely worth a stop.

So happy to have this place local! The food is wonderful and fresh, the menu is varied and well-priced, and the service was friendly and attentive. I had salmon and sushi rolls, my partner had chicken, and we both loved the red bean pancake dessert. I’ve only visited for dinner/dessert so far but plan to return soon to try their coffee and more :)

Wow! Don’t be fooled by the shop front you have to stop here! There is sushi, rolls, slices - yes GF slices and a breakfast menu - kids welcome!! Casual morning dining or takeaway at the front and evening dining at the back - who knew! Private function - no worries there is a function room to seat approximately 15 people! Amazing sushi dinner menu and separate vegetarian and gluten free menu! Prices vary depending on whether you have main meals or starters - definitely looks yum!The staff are friendly and happy and busy!!Browse their pantry for a gift or gift yourself!!Enjoy!!

I recently visited the Japanese cafe and it was an absolutely amazing experience. The atmosphere was cozy and warm, the staff was incredibly welcoming and helpful, and the food was delicious. Everything was presented perfectly and they provided an amazing service. I highly recommend this cafe to anyone looking for an authentic Japanese cafe experience!

Great coffee, staff are lovely, the cafe is bright, clean, fresh…on a busy road but has good parking at the back. Can’t wait for their sushi menu to come available. Will definitely be back…give it a go.

Cannot rate this cafe/restaurant highly enough! The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming as soon as we walked in. The coffee was some of the best I’ve had on the Gold Coast, as was the sushi. The portions were huge all around, especially given how affordable everything was. I can’t wait to come back and try out the breakfast menu!

The food was so tasty and so quick to come out. The lady serving us was so accommodating. The dine in section is also nice. I love that you get real chopsticks instead of disposable.The only thing I will say is that the Don bowls could use some veggies with it, maybe some carrot, corn and broccoli.

Because I live 7 minutes away from home, every morning I will pass by this store to buy a cup of coffee, sometimes I will go to their house for dinner at night after work, their salmon, don rice are good and recommended. The staff's attitude is also very affable, and the speed of serving is also very good. Overall satisfaction.
