We came across this restaurant while strolling through Alice springs in the evening. The restaurant food counters were empty at that time, but the gentleman there said any order would be ready soon. We ordered takeaway Dhaba style chicken masala (on his recommendations), Naans and rice. The food was ready in about 15 minutes. The dhaba style Chicken was absolutely delicious with very good blend of Spices, fragrence of fresh green chillies & coriander etc. The Naans were hot & fluffy. The servings were big/plentiful. If you are after authentic Indian cuisine, you can't go past this restaurant (dine in or take away) in Alice springs.

The best Indian restaurant in Alice. Every time we order the flavours are like fireworks in your mouth. You’re missing out if you haven’t tried it yet. A MUST!!!

You could walk pass this place and not even notice it is there.However, once you stop and try their food, it will be a must to try every time you are in Alice Springs. A fantastic presentation of the unique flavours of Indian cuisine!

When I say that the malai kofta was good, I mean that it was life changing, best curry I’ve ever had, mind bendingly good. I may even fly to Alice to just to eat it again. Things will never be the same again. Thank you Tandoor Express for giving me the best culinary experience one could ask for.
