I never leave reviews for anything online as I am not really an 'internet person'. However, the service, care, and consideration given to me by Alison at Perth Home of Heating was absolutely first class. She talked me through the steps to trouble-shoot my issues with my wood heater. And as she had to tend to customers as well, even called me back at the end of her working day to make sure I had been able to fix the problem. This NEVER happens, people NEVER call back! I was so impressed by this lovely lady. What a wonderful human being! Alison also emailed a few days later with the contact details for people who clean wood stove flues. I will definitely be using this business again, even though it is not my local one nor the closest, I will travel there deliberately for the service. Thank you again Alison. Will be highly recommending your business to anyone and everyone!

Was going to replace the wood heater but Alison and Brett said Jotul brand nothing goes wrong except replace the back or top plate. Send some pictures via email and they said probably you need to change the back plate. The next day I took the part to the shop and they provided the parts it cost 75 dollars and are explained how to install the part. They could have sold a new heater to me but did the right thing by the customer and save me over 4000 dollars. Keep the good work Alison and Brett.

I had an horrible experience with this people. First, they are constantly arguing between themselves or on the phone, that should have warn me before dealing with them.I now can't argue that they are true expert at mistreating people.Anyway I bought a Chazelles D1200. Chazelles website was claiming that all their retailers where true professional who support customers through the all process of buying and installing their fireplace.On this base I trusted the guy who sold me the fireplace for over 10,000AU$, he told me that the installation would cost around 500AU$. While we were away a plumber turn up at my place and installed the fireplace. I never agreed for this guy to come to my place and he told my builder that he never installed such fireplace before and didn't know really what to do. He managed to put the fireplace too far in the cavity of the wall, letting a gap between the wall and the fireplace. It charged us 1.500AU$ for his brilliant performance.When I returned to Perth Home Heating to ask them to meet with my builder to see how we can fix the problem, they told me it was none of their business and they were not competent to help and my builder was a professional who should sort it out. When I argued they were also professional, the guy interrupted me with a straight No".I think that what I should have known before dealing with this people they are incompetent and none professional

I definitely won't be cold this winter!!!After previously living in a home with a wood stove, I really noticed just how much my open fireplace was chewing through the logs in comparison. And of course I was getting all the smoke and the dust into my lounge room; and lungs.With the opening of my fireplace being on the small side, Perth Home of Heating were among only a few outlets that actually offered a quality wood fire insert that would fit, at least without some potentially expensive and very messy brick removal. When I visited the showroom, I also found Alison and Brett lovely to deal with, very friendly and informative.The unit arrived when promised, and the only temporary hiccup was that the installer had to move the date I was initially booked in for; but Brett and Alison personally insured that I was offered a new date not too long after. Julian, the installer was also perfectly lovely and worked very cleanly indeed. I had expected quite a bit more dust.So tonight I am burning off" the unit (a Jindara Riverina) for the first time. Brett and Alison are exceptional! We visited a few stores around Perth before finding them. I am so stoked we did!! From the initial enquiry to the post- sale service, they were a total pleasure to deal with. Knowledgeable, genuine, helpful and just all round brilliant. We’ve had lots of comments on our gas fireplace and I direct everyone keen to consider one for their own home to Perth of Heating. They’re miles ahead of any of the other stores we tried; a better range, quicker delivery time and competitive pricing. Plus, it’s a locally owned business run by champions who genuinely care about good service; what’s not to love?! Go get cosy w PHoH. They’re the best in the business!

Visited recently to source a free standing wood fire for a new build and we will be returning. Highly recommended!They have such a huge range and most importantly excellent customer service and knowledge.We were happy to find Australian made products and we could organise install here too. Price was competitive with other stores and very reasonable.Thank you for the fabulous customer service.

We bought a small wood burner, once it was unpacked at home we realised there was a slight error from the manufacturer.Called and let Brett know about it, and he rectified the situation the same day, provided the part needed and supplied me with complementary spray paint for the inconvenience.Thank you for the great service despite the hiccup.
