Can’t speak highly enough about this business. Really professional and pleasant team of mechanics. I’m an older driver who knows nothing about cars but I do know these guys do a great job at very fair price and they do it efficiently. So happy that I found them for future needs. The workshop is tucked away up a lane but still on Quick St but once found, not forgotten.

Father and son team, Nat and Tim, have been servicing our cars for over 30 years. My son and daughter are the third generation of our family to go there. Workshop is a bit hard to find, but well worth it for trustworthy advice and the good value you get. Speaking of the workshop—its old school; super clean and orderly, but modern equipment too. Ask nicely and they’ll lend you a courtesy car for a day or two if you need it. You’re in the safest of hands. So lucky to have a business like this still in Canberra.

My previous review from a year ago was 5 stars. My experience since then was the opposite and I'm very disappointed. I specifically asked them to wait for me to okay the work after receiving a diagnosis and quote. They contacted me with the diagnosis and quote but before I could answer they commenced with the work. However I didn't want to proceed with the job with due to cost. Instead of apologising they made excuses and they even lied by telling me that someone picked up the phone and told them to proceed - I told them that isn't possible and they didn't respond. With a lot of back and forth ended up settling with paying part of the cost but the whole experience was very unprofessional and I shouldn't have had to pay for work that I never approved to be done.

I took my vehicle for a service on Friday and to have a headlight replaced, after having good experiences with a mechanic there (Tim). Unfortunately, when I collected the car and drove away it was in an unsafe condition - the air hose had not been reconnected after changing the air filter. The car did not accelerate properly and trying to get back was quite dangerous (changing lanes, etc). Nat assured me he would fix it and check it himself. I didn’t hear from him again until after 5pm, when I called and he said he was locking up in 15 minutes, and then hung up on me. We collected the car, and realised that while the air hose had been reconnected, the headlight was still not working - even though I was charged for a headlight bulb and it was signed as checked, operating and safe on the paperwork. I called, emailed and texted but didn’t hear from him. I’ve now called again and he just told me to bring it in and he would check it himself (the same thing he said last time). I asked if someone else could check it and he said he was very busy and then hung up on me. I’ve remained very polite throughout, but I am really disappointed with the service here. At this point, I’m not even sure if my vehicle is in a safe state to drive, and they seem unwilling to talk to me about it. I don’t know what else they’ve signed off but haven’t actually checked or done. I would love to talk to someone else about this to rectify the situation, but so far they have been very rude and have now hung up on me twice.

CWC provides great servicing and honest advice. The same mechanic has been looking after our cars for years. He's very thorough and has gone the extra mile to help us out in a crisis. Reasonably and honestly priced. I really respect that he hires women and immigrants. Thank you!

Had a great experience with CWC Auto Services. They scheduled me in for a rego check within 24 hours and provided a cheap and positive experience. Will 100% bring my car back for any future checks.

I had the absolute best experience here. I was told there was something wrong with my wheel and I need to take it to the dealer when getting a new tyre at a tyre chain. I took it to the car dealer and was given an obnoxious quote. There didn't seem to be anything wrong with the car, it drove the same as always, but I'm no expert so I rang CWC. Not only did Tim offer to check it at that same day, and gave me a quote one third of the dealer for a new wheel, but when I went to pick it up, he said they did all the tests and the wheel is fine and required a minimum of weight to balance. I am so glad I got a second opinion. I would have paid whatever, but they didn't take advantage. Also love that they give you a loan car - next level service!

I love this mechanic so much ! They are so friendly and make everything stress free. The courtesy car is a huge help with the kids. And the staff always go above and beyond to help: I’ve been with them for about a year now for services and when I’ve had a breakdown - they were fantastic each time and fit me in promptly and made sure the kids and I weren’t stranded. They always tell me what things will cost and let me know how the work is going and they always tell me in advance when things are likely to be due so I can save up. It’s so convenient to have the courtesy car and they can do everything repairs and services and tyres and even detail the car. My car was disgusting - four kids making mess in it for years. I asked them to give it a detail and I wasn’t expecting much as it was filthy. But it camera out looking like new. I used to hate the mechanic but now it’s so stress free and I feel like I know what’s happening they explain everything to me. I can’t speak highly enough. I had trouble finding them first time as they are a bit tucked away - but don’t let that put you off they are amazing. My car has never run so well. I even had to use my sisters google account to leave a second review because they are just that good !! Jennifer.

Great service! Muftasa took the time to explain the work to the car, and what needed repairing in person and a detailed report. Appreciate his honesty and thoroughness in the report. Would recommend!
