Huntingdale Village Fish and Chips
So many bad experiences. Chips always undercooked, repeatedly ask for them well done and as crunchy as possible, never happens. They have no idea how to cook squid. On one occasion ordered a 2 serve of fish deal, asked to have the fish upgraded to duh fish. Paid a handsome surcharge to receive just one fillet of (possibly) duh fish, medium size at best. Rang to question and they defended themselves saying that’s how it was. I live 30 seconds across the road from this shop and I drive to Ashburton when I want fish and chips.

Second time ordering from this place as its conveniently just around the corner. Both times only ordered $3 of chips literally was less than handful of chips and they were soft , looked and tasted undercooked. Defently not going there again!!

Absolutely terrible food fish is shaved and almost just batter chip serving is pathetic the place will close down soon. There own fault i get my fish and chips from Kim's fish and chips now decent size and thick pieces of lovely fish chips a bit light on but

Huntingdale Village Fish and Chips
I ordered fish and chips and potato scallops. Wrong decision. The potato scallops were not cooked properly and had a half cooked texture. The fish was still partly cold and was definitely not cooked properly. Everything was very oily suggesting that they weren't done at the right temperature. My order was done very quickly which surprised me. Would never go there again. Poor quality food.

Thursday night 5/11 was the worst fish and chips from this shop ever. We were told 10 mins till ready...No wonder the order wasnt cooked.Supposed Snapper pieces were tiny, the chips raw, the batter on the squid rings and tiny tiny potato scallops uncooked and the overall colour of meal was a wishy washy yellow colour not a nice crisp brown. When we rang to order, the child on the phone didnt ask for a name, phone # and I had to repeat myself 4 times. This is fish folks, you need to cook it properly otherwise we will get ill. Not coming back.

Huntingdale Village Fish and Chips
Tried to order on the phone but the person couldn't understand what I wanted so I had to drive there to place my order, got home to open up to have everything overcooked and they forgot to put vinegar on my chips like I asked. Cheese sausage was so rubbery I could use it like those floating noodles in the pool, my whole family did not enjoy it. Worse $40 spent ever. NEVER AGAIN.

Huntingdale Village Fish and Chips
Well I've been going to the Batterfish and chip and I will be only going to Batter fish and chips. The food here was disappointing ive never had a piece of snapper the size of my potato scallop and my scallop the size of my squid ring. The chips were under cooked and meal in general was rubbish. Sorry guys but this was the worst fish and chips I've had in 25 years..
