Been there twice and tried different dishes!! Very high quality foods with great portions!Pumpkin salad is one of the best!Also tried steak and really enjoyed!Highly recommend to visit!Huge venue for group bookingAll the staff are very professional and polite!Definitely come back

Great local pub, modern fit out, friendly staff and good food. We came here on good Friday after I gave them a quick call to check they were open. Or to quickly confirm their gluten-free options where their kids could attend and which areas they were allowed in, whether they were showing the game I was interested in and what time they closed. Once we got down here they went out of their way to give a great experience, some chips for my son, putting the game on one of the outside TVs where we had some lower, more comfortable seats and putting the sound on. Food came out quickly, my brother enjoyed what he ordered.

We had such a wonderful night at the Governor bistro. The Staff at the bistro were so friendly and helpful and the food was delicious especially the Porchetta which Riley recommended as I said I loved pork and she helped me find it on the menu.After dinner I enjoyed the best brownie I have ever tasted. I mean ever. I was a brownie that I will dream about having again.I will definitely be coming back to this venue.

The Governor Hotel has steadily become my go to place for special celebrations as it has everything you could want for a great night out. Quiet areas (downstairs), outdoor seating and large gathering space upstairs.I have visited on a few occasions with large groups and everyone has loved the food!Ambience is especially good on the roof top bar and I believe they have live music a few nights of the week.A really good spot for an intimate meal or large gathering, I was very impressed by the Governor Hotel.

Nice upscale pub to watch the ufc at and pretty good pizzas too. Unfortunately, it was the only food available at Sunday lunchtime and we would have appreciated signage/ notice of this. Also keen to see the rooftop open sometime soon.

Great food and good location! Friendly staff, but you got to pay upfront and pick up plates yourself. It’s certainly a great looking and tasting dish worth getting up for. Parking free and easy onsite and underground. Easy access with elevator to the parking and No steps, highly recommended!

Have visited this venue on a few occasions. We enjoyed being able to sit in a booth in the main bistro area as we we're celebrating a birthday. The parking on a Monday night wasn't a problem. It would be easy access too for mobility challenged people.The food was delicious and prompt. We tried the rainbow bowls and salt and pepper squid with an entrees of warmed olives. There were a number of vegetarian and at least one vegan option. Would have liked a vegan dessert option.Staff were courteous and helpful.

Thank you to The Governor Hotel for generously providing an event venue for Pint of Science, a grassroots non-profit festival driven by people who believe in the cause - thank you for supporting our cause. We had a full house (in the gorgeous glasshouse) on all nights and everyone enjoyed themselves (and the food!). I appreciate the care the team took to set up the space and prepare equipment for us. We also felt in very good hands throughout the night with the staff members who were easy to approach and readily offering assistance as needed.
