Kookaburra Farmstay
Our favourite family holiday destination. We have visited Kookaburra Farmstay 3 times within the last 2 years. We would have been more if it wasn’t for covid cancelling a few trips for us.Callum and Mel are so welcoming! Farmer Kate and James have given us great tours around the farm and made the holiday extra special for the kids. We have stayed in the cabins and the cottages and loved both.It really is the best family holiday destination you could ask for. They love all the animals, farm tours, playground and the freedom to ride their bikes around the property.Every time we leave we start planning our next visit.Thank you for being so welcoming and providing us with some amazing family memories guys!

It is a nice kids friendly farm life experience. The friendly service offered by Farmer Callum and Farmer Kate make the farm-life experience even better. The farm tour at 4pm is a great way for the kids to get to know the farm animals and to feed them. The cottage that we stayed in, was well maintained and nice. It is a great way for kids to get to know farm animals. The place is close to several attractions and beaches as well which is an added bonus.

We had such wonderful time staying at Kookaburra Farm. The children had a ball feeding the animals, walking around the farm and jumping in muddy puddles (it rained so heavily on our first day but it added to the fun). Farmer Callum and Kate made us feel so welcome. The farm tour was so interactive and we love the tractor ride. It was a perfect holiday.

Absolutely lovely experience!!!! Half our group stayed at the main house and half at the cabins. Both of them with great furniture, equipped kitchen, aircon and bbq area. Every day at 4pm they do a tour where you get to feed and pet all the animals. Had an amazing time with our 2 year old. Definitely want to make this an yearly thing. With shark sanctuary and the beach just around the corner. Really easy, fun and different weekend away

AMAZING!!!! The pictures on the website actually don’t do this place justice. It’s much nicer. Farmer Callum…. Wow so much energy with the kids.includes everyone, the tractor ride, duck island, donkeys, goats, milking cows, Guinea pigs, alpaca, horse, chickens that you can hold. What’s not to like. My kids are already asking me when we can return. Quite literally one of the best experiences of our lives. Thank you

The photos do not do this place justice. We have just spent a week in the big farmhouse for the second year in a row and are already looking at booking in dates for next year. There is so much to do on the farm: the daily farm tour/tractor ride, feeding the animals, milking cows, pony rides and endless exploring and outdoor fun. We enjoyed a couple of BBQs out on the deck with delicious meat from the Anna Bay butchery.Farmers Callum and Kate are very welcoming and provide a lot of fun and entertainment for the kids. There is also plenty to do in and around Port Stephens. Swimming at Shoal Bay and fish and chips from Aussie Bob’s are some of my personal favourites.During our last visit we even had some beautiful family photos taken by Florent Vidal. They are friends with the owners and have very competitive rates. Highly recommend.I really cannot recommend Kookaburra Farmstay highly enough!
