This lodge is by far one of the best places I have stayed at in Australia.I've been travelling my home town Aus for 7 months and it just stands out so much.Very reasonable pricing/ the cheapest in town I could find and that did not reflect the quality. The rooms have a spacious toilet, shower and wardrobe. The share kitchen is such an amazing idea!! It was so large, and fully equipped, perfect for anyone or anysize family. The pool area is beautiful, and the out door dining area for residents to use is spacious and green and beautiful. The staff who checked us in, who I believe is the owner was very friendly and helpful. A true local, very close walking distance to shops and main part of town. Its homey but also feels like we're on a holiday. I would absolutely stay here again and wish we were staying longer. I would also like to comment on a previous review about paper thin walls, I did not find this at all. With the window and door shut I never heard anything outside my room. Thanks Ningaloo lodge!!

Not sure where to start with this place. The staff are fantastic. The community kitchen is very clean, well equipped and a great place to chat to others over a cuppa. The kids loved the games room and TV room. Laundry has free dryers which was very helpful but only 1 worked so there was always a queue. The swimming pool is always free for a swim but that’s because it’s freezing. The rooms are pokey and cramped but the fridge, TV and shower are great. Be prepared to share the resort with local workers who will get up at 4am and run the shower and slam doors. You can hear everything through the walls. We had a family of 5 and it cost us $500 a night and that’s for a room with my head about 2 meters from the communal BBQ. So people would be cooking up some snags and look over through my window straight into me sitting on the toilet. But they ate their dinner anyway. I don’t think I would stay there again, but for a couple it would be okay for the price.

Best location we could have had as we had no transport. The communal kitchen area was large, clean and well resourced. A bonus the laundry area, games room and a lovely outdoor area under cover to sit.

This place was great. Don’t know where to start, older and budget accommodation, the staff are very friendly. The place was very clean and attention to detail was obvious. It is very clear this place is well loved by management and staff. Best kitchen ever. So close to the shops. Our car broke down so we had to stay in town as it couldn’t be fixed until next day. So we were lucky to find this place. The next day our car wouldn’t be ready until the afternoon but check out is 10am - not a problem at all to the staff. We were told to make ourselves at home as long as we need. Lounge/ tv area, kitchen, pool, and games room.Thank you to all the staff, as this made a stressful time so much easier.

The room is a bit small for a double but it's quite well equipped with its own fridge. There's also a common kitchen that's clean and well equipped. We also have access to a common room for a game of pool and darts. Other than that there's a guest laundry that could be used in the afternoon that has both washers and dryers. The only down side is probably the occasional cockroaches around and intermittent WiFi given that the area doesn't have much reception.

What a friendly relaxed place to stay. Rooms were small but clean and well looked after. Aircon was perhaps too noisy to use at night but the ceiling fan was fine. Communal garden with lots of tables for relaxing outside with a book or eating your meal. Communal kitchen was spotless and everyone was treating it with respect when we were there. Free tea and coffee facilities as the are not any in the rooms. Each room does have a fridge freezer too store your food and there's overflow space in the kitchen. Pool was small but great for cooling off. Hotel is close to the shopping area so very handy for facilities. Would definitely stay there again.

A very unassuming lodge, but incredibly well looks after. Basic room and beds but the service, attention to detail was impeccable. Perfectly cleaned and you can tell there is much love put into the day to day running. The kitchen facilities are one of the best I've seen with everything you need to make a good feed. The staff at reception were amazing, allowing us to drop off our bags as we arrived early and letting us stay an extra couple of hours out in the garden and pool area before we were picked up. A very welcoming place.
