Great camping spot. Clean long drop toilets, decent plot sizes. Brilliant fire pits with built in cooking plate.

Beautiful national park in Byfield just north of Yeppoon. Camping highly recommended for the best experience for the serenity and clear water early in the morning and late afternoon after all the day trippers leave.

Definitely pay a visit here! Parking at the visitor area, or 14 camp sites nearby booked through the QPWS. Multiple swimming spots and rope swings. Some wildlife too! Eels, turtles and even a snake joined us for a swim! And make you don’t follow Google maps via Upper Stoney Creek Road. Take Stoney Creek Road which is 5km south (off the same road).Check out more at:@ultimateaussiebucketlist (insta, FB, web)

We don't ever visit the yepoon region and not stop at this place. Nice if you can get there during the week as you will more than likely have it all to yourself. The flow will stop or slow right down after long dry spells but generally has some flow. Free bbq's to cook up lunch as well as tables and chairs to sit at. Toilets are always cleanclean no potable water but there are taps to wash up with. Another one if those spots I like to keep to myself.... shhhhhhh!

Amazing spot to spend the day or go camping, bbq facilities, public toilets and loads of parking. You have to spend some time on a dirt road to get there (5-10 km) but not too bad, I wouldn’t attempt it after a bit of rain without a 4x4. Take some aqua shoes, a kayak or inflatable water tube or floats to lounge on al day.

This is a beautiful creek with a short nature walk along side the creek. Plenty of entry points to the creek upstream. Beware of broken glass bottles amongst the stones, as obviously previous visitors have not considered the environment or future visitors to the area & have not picked up after themselves upon leaving.

Family fun place, has 4 bbq's, free camping, refreshing water. Bring your blow up floaty toys. Nice drive out, watch out for snakes on the walking trail leading further up the creek from the camp ground and bbq area. Frequent sightings of eastern browns and harmless snakes further up the creek.
