Shelly Beach

This was one of my fave beaches in the area and so quiet.

Shelly Beach Campground:- Perfect location directly at the beach- Campsites with great ocean view- Freshwater stream could be used for showers etc.- No restrooms, just one none flushing toilet- 16$ per night- David was a very nice volunteer campground host

We came back after two years for the same season, between xmas and new years. It's great because you don't need booking and it's a wonderfull hidden corner. This time though, the camp host was nowhere to be seen, so campers went unleashed and placed tents (8pax) on dunes and big families rocking up blocking cars at the parking bay. It wasn't a very pleasant experience, but I guess you have to come down on a more quiet period. Still I think that the place lacks of proper camping policies/etiquette, even when there is no one to supervise especially in such a small camping ground. Please remember to be respectful with nature and rest of campers, carry your rubbish back with you and NEVER BLOCK CARS IN A CAR PARK, especially in areas of difficult access.

Beautiful place to camp or visit for the day. NO BINS. Drop toilet and very small campground. Can get windy but defibitely worth the picturesque beach/land

Absolutely beautiful and stunning with camping spots around.

Great beach with an awesome view. The camping ground is okay but not perfect. The camping ground itself has grass ground which has holes everywhere in it from rabbits and has no shelter whatsoever from the southerly winds. In summer this would not be such an issue. Would not recommend this beach for fishing if that is your intentions.

Lovely wild spot. Shame they have now banned camp fire barrels, as being so wild it's rather chilly for whale watching.

Good spot for ground camping, that day to late to get there so not more camping space.

Amazing place to visit, you can get there in a 2wd car. Amazing place to have a picnic with the family
