I've been seeing April for about 6 weeks for treatment of endometriosis. I always feel heard and validated by April and stepping into her rooms is instant calm. I always leave feeling refreshed. So far the treatments and recommendations have been helping, I also have a long way to go - but I feel confident in April's hands and she will always manage to fit me in and check up on me after appointments.

Whilst I’m not afraid of needles, I have never loved the idea of having lots of needles in me or being able to feel it. This is why I see April! She uses really thin needles and a technique where I’ve never had more than around six in. April is really good for my overthinking mind as she explains the process and what to expect. I find my sessions with April relaxing and especially love the moxabustion at the end! April has me sorted at the moment, so I haven’t seen her for a while! I recommend April wholeheartedly!

I started Accupunture at 35 weeks with April once I found out I potentially was going to be induced for labour (I had Gestational Diabetes). It was so relaxing seeing her and not only preparing for induction, taking care of other things along the way -such as reflux and back/hip pain.Once I was booked for induction at 39 weeks I saw April twice a week for a more ‘intense’ session.In the end I had a session on the Monday evening- which again, was so relaxing I felt very in tune and prepared. I went into labour on the Tuesday and had my baby in under 3.5 hours. Couldn’t recommend it more to any pregnant ladies who have had the induction card thrown at them. I escaped all medical intervention and had a natural birth.

April and her work with acupuncture as changed my life. I came to April after coming off the contraceptive pill. I was experiencing irregular and painful periods post coming off the pill, it was so frustrating. Having treatments with April has now shorted my cycles to a healthy length, my periods are no longer painful, my skin has cleared up and my mood/energy has improved so much. I highly recommend April not just because she is good as what she does, but because she is an incredible space holder and all round beautiful human.
