The team showed up earlier than expected and kept us in the loop at all times - service was top notch. Best of all we got a perfect new roof with fresh insulation at a very competitive price - highly recommended on all fronts!

We cannot recommend Sebastian and his team highly enough. Honestly the best experience we could have hoped for. Super professional, fast but incredibly careful and high quality in everything they do. Very good communication before and after and they cleaned and tidied the site thoroughly. Importantly, the whole crew are nice people who you feel very comfortable having in and around your home. And the new roof looks amazing!

Just adding to the positive reviews. SDM did a fantastic job of our roof. They were punctual and turned up when they said they would. I got three quotes and they were in step with their competitors (except for one terrible company who tried to quote us three times what the other two did). We used SDM as they had great reviews. Roof looks stunning. Held up in the big storm the other night and we are very pleased. You may have to wait a little longer to get your roof installed with these guys as they are very busy but they are worth the wait. Would recommend ☺️

Called Sebastian out for a quote to fix our leaking roof that has had countless repair attempts to no avail. He arrived on-time, identified what could be two potential issues (one of which has not been previously been suggested to us) and provided an initial low-cost fix. It was then a game of wait and see. We've gotten a good downpour and no leaks! Professional, knowledgeable and punctual; If you need a good roofer, Sebastian's your guy.

If there’s one thing I’ve learned while living in my 106 year old Moonah home it’s that NOTHING is easy and this was certainly the case with my corrugated roof. After several failed attempts by inferior contractors to fix the many leaks and other issues, SDM Roofing was my last hope. They came through with flying colours! Sebastian, Malte and their wonderful, multinational crew were an absolute pleasure to work with and they did a phenomenal job on a difficult house. My new, properly installed roof with insulated foil blanket, thick R5 batts, fully meshed gutters and fascia coverings looks stunning and to my great relief, all the leaks, condensation and ventilation issues now appear to be resolved! SDM was very professional and thorough from the quote stage all the way through to the after job cleanup providing excellent advice, communication and reasonable pricing. The only minor negative in the whole process was that due to their huge popularity, they book out well in advance, which means there was a rather long wait time, but that only reinforces the fact that they are extremely good at what they do. Five stars, I would highly recommend them to any and all in need of roof care in Hobart!

Sebastian, Malte and the team carried out a detailed inspection, quotation and susequent roof, facia, gutter and downpipe replacements (where needed) on five properties at Montagu bay for me recently. Most impresively, we set a date for the measure and quote inspections, not only was Malte on time and thourough but he did some minor emergency repairs at the time to get us through to the job date. During the works it was identified that some quoted works were not needed and instead of staying quite, I was informed early and that amount was taken of the quote and final bill. The work was first rate with many little extras done at the time with no additional cost to me. The first time I used the team was about five years ago, so I went back this time. After this experience I could not imagine using anyone else. Great communication and service, fantastic value and workmanship. Thanks SDM for a spectacular job!

I highly recommend SDM roofing. Malte came on time as promised to assess my roof and quoted me for the job. Both Malte and Sebastian kept me posted about the progress of my roof replacement and were very professional and easy to deal with.
