Julia is an incredible teacher. She has been working with our young daughter for over a year and never ceases to inspire and motivate. She is incredibly patient and helps guide us as non-musical parents so we can also support our daughter. Our daughter simply adores her - any why wouldn’t she - Julia is talented, encouraging and fun! A fabulous combination.

I have done a couple of group lessons and one-on-one. Julia's courses are very well structured and she explains things very clearly. She also makes it fun and has lots of energy! I love that she makes you feel like anyone can sing, and it doesn't matter what your background or experience, we are equals and all have the right to express ourselves and just enjoy singing, whether it is for a performance, or just to belt out a good renditon of 'Happy Birthday' at a party and nail that octave jump!!

Hummingbird Music has a new home and it is lovely. A beautiful space set up for my singing lesson. Rachal and Julia are great teachers and are full of encouragement. Their professionalism in their fields of expertise only enhances their love for music and the care they provide to me as a student. My daughter’s piano playing and vocal skills have improved immensely since starting with Hummingbird Studios.But more than that, her love for learning has increased and her confidence has grown.Julia has a unique ability to really see and understand her students. From the moment we did our first pre-lesson call, I clicked so easily with Julia. She's the perfect combination of a 5-star professional in her field, a warm, personable approach that doesn't take life too seriously, and a teacher who knows how to work according to her student's personal journey and needs. We've sung everything from Disney songs to Whitney and everything in between, and she's used each one to teach me new vocal techniques and skills I never knew or would have believed I'd be able to master.
