Nicole is a miracle worker! She really understood what was going on with Albie and was able to help me modify my behaviours and tweak my training methods to help Albie understand what I want from him.

Nicole is so passionate about her job, genuinely wanting to help you and give you the tools you need to succeed. She is incredibly professional, adjusting her training style to best suit both you and your dog (or in our case, dogs x2!) to get the most out of each session. We can't recommend her enough!

When we decided to go ahead with the owner trained Assistance Dog thing, I was a little apprehensive. I knew that my disability could sometimes make consistency difficult and my sensory issues aren’t really conducive to raising a well socialised puppy. We found Nicole around the same time we found Mochi. She talked us through everything we’d need from day one and the day Mochi was ready to head home, Nicole was waiting to take her on for a kickstart B&T. We got five weeks of constant updates about how cute, calm and responsive Mochi was and we knew immediately that we had made two very right choices. Mochi is now 9 months old and preparing to start very short public access trips in the new year. At the start of the year my anxiety, and trauma really made leaving the house for a walk impossible without the help of a support worker. Now, I’m independently leaving on 3 walks a day because through the training process, I’ve managed to develop enough confidence and a sense of safety that I can handle any situation that I find myself in with Mochi, Subak, or Gracie. This is all thanks to the amazing help and support that we’ve received since Nicole started helping out. She raises the best puppies!

I was genuinely so impressed from the first 5 minutes she entered our home. If you are seeking a dog trainer for any reason, Nicole at TDP is amazing and you should reach out and book in your consultation with her! We have 2 dogs and wanted a better relationship with them, and them with each other too. We have worked with Nicole for a couple of years, have stretches of fortnightly-monthly sessions either at our house or in parks and communicate outside of these too. Her approach is thorough, knowledgable and passionate all in one... she will lay out a plan and roadmap to get you and your dogs to the improvements you are seeking. She will give you support and feedback between the sessions when you need it for the work you put in between sessions too. Our dogs are now better trained/mannered in every sense thanks to her guidance. No dog is perfect, but she will give you the tools to help give you a much better relationship with your dog, both in private at home and out in public. Thank you Nicole!

We had a wonderful experience with top dog performance. Nicole helped me from the second she arrived at the door. In one session we were able to achieve a huge amount with our very excitable dog, Nicole didn’t just train the dog she helped the whole family understand why we say things and how to say them to help our dog give us his best behaviour. I can not recommend Nicole from Top Dog Pawformance highly enough.We started training with Nicole when my Corgi was 11 months old. He was very difficult to handle as he was extremely excitable and had serious FOMO! Within 5 minutes of Nicole arriving she had Hugo settled and quiet, something that had never happened before! We can now take Hugo places & he will sit patiently, people will come over & he’s not a nightmare barking at us the whole time. The results have been absolutely amazing & we are only half way through our program! If you’re undecided as to who to go with, choose Nicole!Also, we can now go for a walk without stopping 90+ (not kidding, I counted) for Hugo to wee/sniff! Nicole aka dog whisperer is amazing!

I really enjoyed the time that I spent with Nicole, as she helped me to better understand my dog and how I can get the best out of her, and learning to communicate my commands to her. Nicole is very passionate about her business and about dog behaviour... after 10 minutes, she successfully had my dog to respond to her marker! I couldn’t believe it! Her methods of training and explanations were gentle and easy for me to follow - so much so that I was excited to begin practising boundary training at my front door a few hours later, with success! I learnt so much about my dog and how to communicate with her during our session - I’m so glad I did it. Thank you Nicole!

Nicole from Top Dog Pawformance has been an absolute blessing for myself and my Border Collie, Bobby. I was at my wits end struggling with our dogs reactivity (lunging and barking at cars, bikes, runners, prams, etc.), constant pacing in the backyard and barking. After doing some research for trainers in Brisbane, I came across Nicole and we haven't looked back. She has been great in helping to put procedures in place to manage our dog and has provided me with invaluable techniques in training him to improve his reactivity. Our Border Collie absolutely loves her and I have seen an incredible difference in him since working with Nicole. I can't recommend Top Dog Pawformance and Nicole enough!
