The Meraki Connection

I can’t express the warm and welcoming atmosphere at Carolyn’s studio. We held a bridesmaid’s Paint and Sip class at The Meraki Connection and it was even better than expected. Agota’s class was not only loads of fun, we also learnt new techniques and had many lively conversations about art while we sipped away. To my surprise I also didn’t feel any discomfort about being the only person in the room without any artistic skills. Carolyn has achieved a perfect balance with her “Paint and Sips” and I cannot recommend them enough for adults of all ages. We all left feeling accomplished with our paintings in hand (and maybe a bit of dizziness after the bubbly).

Thank you so much to Carolyn at The Meraki Connection who hosted my friend's bridal shower on Saturday. Carolyn went above and beyond to accommodate our requests and organised our event. It was in a great location as well, perfect as we were heading down the Gold Coast for the rest of our weekend. We are all very pleased with how our resin boards turned out!Would definitely recommend and will book here for my next event.Thank you Carolyn!!

We attended a polymer clay workshop tonight as part of a retreat - it was so much fun!! I've never used the material before but it's so easy to get creative. Thank you to Carolyn and Mimi for a great night!

I did the resin board workshop with my Mum for her birthday. What a wonderful experience! Carolyn was the perfect instructor and explained everything beautifully, all the provided equipment was top quality and the setting was charming. Mum and I got to spend quality time together, and we get to keep our creations as momento's on top! Excellent value for money. Highly recommend.

Carolyn at The Meraki Connection hosted a lovely resin workshop for our hens party, she was very accommodating with all requests. The space was beautiful and comfortable. Carolyn was very knowledgeable and everyone enjoyed learning techniques to make unique boards and coasters.Thank you for the perfect end to our hens weekend!

My friends booked a polymer clay earring class for me as a surprise birthday event. Walking into the space, I was immediately impressed with how professional and inviting it looked. The two ladies working (Carolyn and Mimi) were both so lovely and friendly. The ladies had gone the extra mile and had provided champagne and a cheese and chocolate charcuterie board for us, which was so amazing and very much appreciated. Having a complete lack of experience with polymer clay, I was quite nervous for this class, but was surprised with how much fun I had, and under Mimi's careful instruction, I managed to create a lovely pair of earrings. I cannot express just how friendly and welcoming The Meraki Connection was, and I cannot wait to return for another class soon!

I had a great time doing my first resin workshop. It was a great opportunity to try out a resin class. Carolyn is lovely and is a good teacher. Very patient while I tried to create my 'ocean' board. Instructions were easy to follow. If you're thinking of doing a resin class I highly recommend The Meraki Connection. I did some searching and found this was the best priced class. The resin used did not have an odour - in case you are concerned about the strong smell usually associated with resin. We also had a great chat about different at types. A great experience all around
